Wow it looks lovely! I feel sad and jealous now that mines is not going to be as gorgeous
I've not done much else. Have been to a wedding fair and although it was good it was far too busy to really look properly.... i did manage to try on 2 dresses though and although they were gorgeous they just weren't the one.... supposedly i'll know when i find it just hope it doesn't cost as much as these.... they were over £1000 and to be honest i don't think they looked like they were worth that much then again i may just be a bit picky!
I still need to book the registrar..... should do it soon just need to find the time to go meet them
Welcome to the thread caz

buddie, to be honest the only reason I can have it somewhere that nice is because it's in Northern Ireland, from what i have seen it is sooo much cheaper over there than in England.
As for the registrar, we can;t give notice yet bacuase that has to be done within 12 months of the wedding, I just rang and booked my date over the phone to make sure it was reserved for usyou should be able to do that i would think?

Yeah we can book the date but we have to actually go meet them to actually book it  and we have to pay a £50 deposit at the time too.... not that i mind doing that but with working full time during the day and part time at night and weekends i don't really have much time and need to take the day off. I've a weeks holiday booked for the middle of march from my 2nd job so may take a few days off from my day job and get it done then.
Have you looked at anything else yet??DEBT OUTSTANDING 23.04.17 £16802.970 -
Oh right, I rang up and spoke to the registrar who booked it for me and said to contact them around next April to give notice etc. They haven't asked for any money yet?? Maybe it is different in different parts of the UK?
I've sorted the photographer and am looking at cars at the minute, already been told one I wanted is not available so things are obviously getting booked up I must get going lol!0 -
I really want to get more things organised but at the moment money is a really big factor so i don't want to get too carried away. We have decided on what i would like for the favours just need to buy them now... its going to be a tealight holder and a tealight which are working out at just over 45p each but will still need to get something to put them in. I have 10 so far just the rest to get but i thought if i get some every time im in the shop it won't be a big outlay at once.... it was even suggested that i could personalise them using some kind of paint which sounds like a good idea i just don't know if im that creativeDEBT OUTSTANDING 23.04.17 £16802.970

Oh thats sounds lovely, I haven't really thought about favours yet, trying to get the 'big' things booked at the minute so I know everything will at least happen on the day lol. Keep getting replies saying my date is already booked etc, thank god the registrar had the date free lol! Could have been disasterous...0

We've not had any problems with dates yet and cause we're getting married on a Sunday its not as busy as the Saturdays in September! So we are really lucky at the moment.... you will all be the first to hear as soon as i can't get the date i want for something xDEBT OUTSTANDING 23.04.17 £16802.970

Yes your probably sensible! We didn't intentionally go for a saturday, it's our five year 'anniversary' on sept 3rd and OH decided it would save him remembering any new dates :rotfl::rotfl: silly man!0
