    Hey

Well we have booked the wedding and reception on Friday and with all the calculations we had done were way more than what it is actually going to cost us! So we have less to actually save and its actually do-able :j

I think we have also decided on a colour scheme (ivory / cream / white) and burgundy mostly depends on the colour of my dress.

I have bought some burgundy mini roses off of ebay tonight just to see what they are like. I thought they could be used for table settings, invitations or favours depending on the quality of them.

Hows everyone else getting on? Any ideas?

    Hi,

I actually have no colour scheme yet, I am hoping to get the bridesmaids involved in helping me choose, see what colours they would like etc. Have had some ideas for making bride and groom cookies for wedding favours, mayb a bit like these...

Those look great i wish i thought i could make something like that i don't think i could do it justice. I have no idea what im going to do for favours yet.... just the colours

My sister and i went for lunch at the venue today and the colours of the seats and room will tie in with the colour scheme of burgundy. I texted my other bridesmaid tonight and she loves the colour she had the same at her wedding 10 years ago so is happy with it.

I really need to stop looking at dresses on ebay i just want to buy one of everything to try on :o

Im hoping to go to a wedding fair at the end of this month and there are another 2 in Feb so think i'll start looking then. Don't want to look too early as i've not got any money to pay for it yet! I want to get some ideas so i can hopefully find the one i want and then try and find it cheaper.

My bridesmaids have been warned that i am not allowed to buy anything on the day as i tend to go look at stuff and buy it straight away without thinking! If i see something i want i have to have it there and then! So they have strict orders to remove me from the shops asap.
