The first machine we had in our house was a BBC Micro, it's older than me. I can't remember which revision it was, although I'll check when I'm at home next as it's still working.
I wasn't really that interested in the NES at the time, I was more interested in what Commodore had to offer. I had a 64, Amiga 500, 600 & 1200 over the years. Amiga Workbench was a truly excellent Operating System of the time. I moved onto PC gaming at some point which I can't really remember, although I think it was interwined around the same point as the Amiga 500.
I have an original Gameboy (still got it, still works) and an N64 (great console, set up under my TV at the moment). Went onto Xbox, PS2, Xbox 360, PS3 all while keeping pretty much up with the PC too.
Must have spent thousands over the years (and washed a lot of cars for pocket money!).0 -

I used to go round to my grandads every weekend just to play Elite on his BBC B
Laser squad ~ the first game of that kind was REBELSTAR RAIDERS yes?
Man, I played that game to DEATH on my spectrum. That was my first true strategy game and it blew me away:idea:0
