I recently wrote to Pizza Hut (on the address on their website) to complain about service in my local restaurant. It's always really understaffed and they really don't seem very keen to want to help you. Told them about two visits when service was poor and food was burnt.

Got a letter of apology yesterday with £20!!!! of vouchers, so I was delighted with the result.

Morning all, I've had a nightmare with Argos these last 6 months or so, and so I am writing to their chief exec, and wanted your opinions on the letter- all input welcomed, either by PM or reply!

    Chris

    Dear Ms Weller,

I am writing to you with regard to the service that I have received from your Customer Service department over the past several months. In September, I ordered a Scandanavia Bed Frame and mattress from you via your website for the total cost of £104.94.

Upon receipt of this bed, I put it together myself, and with assistance of my father, and was disappointed to see that the overall quality was very poor, especially in the case of the slats in the headboard which would not fit properly, and were extremely loose. Furthermore, a fortnight after assembly, one of the slats under the mattress broke entirely, despite the bed only being used for normal sleeping use.

Therefore, I e-mailed your Customer Services department, who then called me to let me know that they had arranged for me to be contacted in the next week regarding a replacement bed being sent out. I was then telephoned three weeks (!) later, and offered a date for re-delivery on a day which I was unavailable, and so the agent said he would contact me to arrange another date. Unsurprisingly, this call never materialised, and when I contacted the department again, they claimed they had no knowledge or record of my enquiry. Therefore, I went through the process again, and was told to expect a call back. Again, this call never happened, and I was forced to chase up again. This time, once again, I was told there was no record of my call, and so I asked to speak to a supervisor only to be told that there was no one available.

The next call that I made was to request a different bedstead altogether (a metal one at an additional price), as the purchased one was becoming less and less sturdy, and that I thought the mattress was of very poor quality. Firstly, I was told that it was not possible to only exchange the bedstead, but that I had to change both the bedstead and the mattress. I enquired where I would be able to sleep then, as I was told that I could not be guaranteed that the delivery of any new frame would be on the same day as collection of the old one. I was greeted then by a huff from the advisor who I was speaking to, and then told “Maybe it was your fault that you didn’t put the thing together properly”. To me, that is a completely unacceptable way to address any customer, let alone one who has spent in excess of £2000 with your company over the last year.

I hope that there is an amicable way that we can resolve this matter, and I look forward to hearing from you in the very near future.

    Yours sincerely,

I have bought a set of three chanel allure bottles of perfume, they have a clicky lid that you re-use on them all (one has the lid) the others are empty on top apart from prong bit,now when I opened to use there is a lid but no spray bit so I cant use my perfume. I went into the shop I bought from Boots and she said "Oh cant help you as we have none left" insinuating i was lying and didnt buy from there.

I paid £48 for three bottles (they are little ones) and for what? I have no receipt because I knew I would use and love the stuff so am I screwed?

    I could scream!

Bought the new Huggie pull up pants for my daugter. They are so bad, they leak, hold less urine than the orginals. I sent an email of to Huggies
    Dear Marcellep,

Thank you for your e-mail about your experience with HUGGIES® LITTLE WALKERS* nappy-pants.

We are sorry to learn that your daughter experienced an irritation at the time you were using our product. Each component in HUGGIES LITTLE WALKERS nappy-pants was evaluated to ensure that the product would not produce irritation or signs of allergic response. Extensive studies have also been performed on the product to ensure the overall safety and performance of HUGGIES LITTLE WALKERS nappy-pants. These studies have shown that it is very unusual for the cause of the irritation to be traced solely to this product. In any case, we certainly regret that this happened.

Because we have not changed the absorbency of HUGGIES® LITTLE WALKERS it is difficult to explain the cause of the leaks. However, we can assure you that your experience is certainly unusual. We hope that you will accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience. At Kimberly-Clark we take great care to ensure that the quality of our nappies is reliable and consistent. You can be confident that we will share your comments with the mill of manufacture.

As you are probably aware, the weight ranges on our packages are listed only as guidelines and overlap from size to size. We recognise that children of the same weight can differ significantly in shape and habits, as they develop at different rates and eat and drink different amounts. If your child is near the end of the recommended weight range, you may want to consider trying the next size, or a smaller size if he or she is near the beginning of the weight range. You may find that another nappy size may fit your child better, resulting in better protection against leaks.

With the hope that you will continue to use Kimberly-Clark products, we would like to send you some vouchers in the post. If you are interested, please send us a follow-up e-mail with your full postal

This is the reply I got from them and now await my vouchers.

I dont think "getting your own back" is the agenda.

If I have a problem with a product I let the manufacter know and give as much detail as possible, eg time, date and place of purchase, wether the product had been recommended to me etc. I also send receipts or photocopies and packaging where sensible but at least the bar code and use by dates, maybe also a photo of the product I am having problems with etc, as much details as possible. I do this ASAP, dont wait until months later

Only had to do this a few times but results have been good

Friday, whilst eating a lamb stew at tescos I found a large black hair in it,

yesterday at another tescos I bought a fruit salad from the cafe and it was 2 days out of date !!!

will be sending a letter out tomorrow

    Welshy x

Trouble is Tesco dont own all its own Cafes. The one in Stafford is dreadful especailly the staff and it has been the same everytime - I dont know why we bother with the place. When we double checked at CS they confirmed what we thought, it is not actually a Tesco cafe.
