Complaint Letter Successes

Yeshi
i dont think i have ever written a letter of complaint but today i did, before christmas my mother in law bought my daughter some food from their free from range, she was poorly over christmas but i thought it must be a tummy bug, but we recieved a letter from sainsburys the other day stating that they had managed to trace us using the necter card number and that the item we had bought had been found to have the ingredient in that my daughter is allergic to, which is why my daughter was poorly.
so i was really cross that they have put my daughter at risk and have put her back medically, and no how do i know the rest of the range is ok?
hopefully i will hear something backIf you want the rainbow you have to go through the rain.

I have had loads of problems with nationwide. I decided to go in last march to get them to requote my mortgage assurance. I wanted the same cover and the same polices (we had three).
The quotes came back from this chap as being £50 per month cheaper, are they the same I asked yes. Great I will take them. Three months later nothing had changed so I wrote a complaint letter to find out why it had taken so long and why it was so much cheaper.
They wrote back and said it was because the cover was not the same (did not include critical illness cover) I said the chap said it was the same. But he was not qualified to give this information. He should have said see a financial bloke - which he didnt
Anyway it became my word against his and in the end I got my old cover back. In the meantime the person dealing with my complaint left and no one had any knowledge of the complaint at the head office.
Start again. Got the old policies back and then back to where I was.
Offered £100 for the hassle. Took it.
Three months later I noticed that they had only taken payment for the old policies twice and the last time in November - not taken it in Dec and Jan.
I rang to complain, by this time the office knew me well enough to recall my complaint without hassle.
Anyway they admitted the fault, something to do with the chap who normally deals with this went on long term sick so no one monitored his work.
Got a hamper sent to me for my complaint.
Still not sure all is well, anyway right at the beginnig of the mortgage the cocked that up as well and took money twice - gave me £100 for that.
Anyone else had problems with these people????0 -
No - but it should be moved to another boardI always write and complain if pubs have crap food and crap service - mhetherspoons have sent me two or three £5 vouchers, the only thing is you then have to go back to the crap pub to spend it0

i'm curious, what ingredients would be in a toblerone that would be illegal anywhere?
(it reminds me of the father ted episode where mrs doyle is going on about havin' a cup o' tea and some nice cake as usual , and he's saying no as usual, then she says 'aah go-on father, it's got coc@#ne in it!':rotfl: )
also, does anyone please know an email contact for tesco customer services? i do want to complain about something (genuine) but don't fancy ringing up or face-to-face because i'm a bit nervous about it. i've looked on their website and searched on here but i can't find anything, does anyone happen to know?thanks:A0 -

No - but it should be moved to another boardQS emailed me back (my shoes fell to bits), saying to take them back for a refund, but I'd feel like a prize lemon since they were £2 in the sale lol."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."
