No - but the title needs to changeThe_Governor wrote:I just bought a new car and changed my policy over with Tesco. They had the cheek to charge me £15.75 for the gargantuan 15 second task done over the phone, presumably because they also have to print the certificate on a laser printer and post it
Anyway, I wrote a letter explaining how I though it was opportunist and got a cheque back the the whole "administration fee"
Gits, I'll be cancelling with them next month now, as they're £120 more expensive than Liverpool Victoria, according to my quotes so far...

lawstudie83 wrote:I got charged £25 admin fee in Oct o5-do you think there is a chance i could have this refunded? When i first rang up i was informed that i could place policy on my vehicle at that time (was acquiring new vehicle the following week) and have it transferred over, they did make me aware of admin fee but indicated it would be likely i would have this waived as transfer was within the first week. However i was charged and paid this admin fee.
Thanks

Nokellywelly wrote:But you see I have an issue with this also as I am a mum with a nearly 3 yr old and I was parked at our Tesco a few weeks ago, now my little one was asleep so I waited in the car with her while my OH and elder son went and did some shopping, I was parked in an ordinary bay but very close to the disabled bays, I must have sat there for approx 45 mins, and I can tell you I was amazed by what I saw, first there was a family of rather large people 2 adults 3 kids, they were all able bodied and 2 were eating food as they walked, they got into a very large and new people carrier that was parked in the disabled bay, I had a good look and they were definately displaying blue badges, I can assure you that not one of them was disabled, a short time after I noticed another people carrier turn up and park in the disabled bay, again looked brand new, I was watching as there appeared to be nothing wrong with either the driver or passenger but they were clearly again displaying blue badges, but then they went to the side of the car and started to obviously help someone inside so I thought oh Ok they have a disabled passenger in the back, but I was wrong they were merly getting a baby out of a car seat and putting it in a buggy.
I was very annoyed by these 2 incidents and was grumbling to myself when my OH and son turned up, I was explaining to them what happened and pointing out the car that was still there showing its badges and as I was talking a little old lady turned up and again displaying blue badges and I started to say to my OH that it was people like the old lady needed be parking there and not the others when low and behold this little old lady with disabled blue badge stickers proceeded to jump out of the car and practically sprint to the store, I was gobsmacked, she could have given Linford Christie a run for his money, there was no way she needed blue badges, now that was 3 examples in 45 mins, of people with blue badges that definately did not need them, so how often does this happen I wonder.
I have to say i am sitting her having to read this twice over as i cant belive what i just read!!! How the hell can you determin if any of the RATHER LARGE people were disabeld or not??? Let me tell you something i am one of these rather large people and yes i have a disability called rheumatoid arthritis and you cant see it but belive me the crippeling pain i have got day in and out which even morphine cant take away i would not wish on anyone. I used to be quiet small but with having to take 26 different meds a day including steroids in big doses to keep the inflamation under raps in my body made me put on loads of weight, so i have not exactly choosen to be ill or rather large as you say! People like you make me sick! When you see me on a day which is a sort of good day i walk ok too but only for a short distance before i am in total agony again! Try having a bit of common sense before hitting out at people who have got blue badges but dont look disabeld! I have often been stared at when parking on the disabeld space out of our Zafira which we get with my DLA because it is far easier to get in and out than a normal car when you have got inflamed joints, and i allways just scurry away , because of people like you! but i dont anymore why should i be embarresed about something have no way of changing? I really hope before making simular accusations in future you look between the lines instead of talking abut people who cant help what way they look. I wish people like you could step into my shoes for just one day and run a household and 2 kids with the pain i have got evey day all day!I am sorry for ranting on but this post really upset me0 -
NoBack to what the thread was about anyway........

And would like to know what i can do about it. i dont really want the money back i'd like to let coca cola know that i think the cornish pasty van at northampton saints south stand is flogging fake coke. any advice would help.If i upset you don't stress, never forget that god aint finished with me yet.0 -
