I found a bag of crisps in my Tesco multipack that were open at one end and I want to write to them but don't know where to start. What sort of thing should you say?0

Mention that the pack was not to the standard you expect, as of course, you don't expect an opened packetand that you haven't received what you paid for. There's probably some MSEs on here who have much more knowledge and advice... but thats my humble input
hehe

emailed Clover the other day as my 250g tub of clover went off way before the use by date, I't wasn't really a complain email, it was more like informing them. Had an email back within few hours advising me to dispose(I offered to send it back) it as they can investigate by the 'use by' date. Wasn't really expecting anything, but on Saturday I received a lovely letter of apology, a voucher to get a 500g tub for free and a cheque for £4! well chuffed:j I must admit, if It wasn't for MSE, I probably would have never complained.0

Nah I think you're right silkysmooth! Go for it, after all, adverts are there for the consumer! They get our custom due to them so why shouldn't you inform them their adverts kinda ruin the magic of Christmas!

Thanks Fruitloops, I'm beginning to get the hang of it. I had a double cheese burger at MacD's few months ago, the bun was so burnt that it tasted really bitter, didn't complain though. But now I know that I should have.0

NoI recently complained to Tesco - I found something that looked like an insect/bug in one of their yogurts! ..... the sight put me off yogurts for life !! I sent the insect/bug off to them with a letter of complaint. After about a month I received a letter saying that they couldn't establish what the 'foreign object' was but to compensate me they sent me a £10 money card!! I wasn't expecting to receive anything as I've read from other posts that Tesco aren't very good in dealing with various complaints.
I wouldn't have complained before but thanks to this site I feel like I'm more confident to stand up for my rights!! CONSUMER POWER !!!!0 -

I don't have children so have never thought about it before but I say 'Go For It'! The should appreciate the feedback and maybe more thoughtful in next year's advertising campaign. Let us know how you get on! xxxIf we all lived to the rule 'an eye for an eye', the world would be blind...0
