  • I complained to dominos (online - easy-peasy) when a pizza took an hour to arrive and then they charged me for a bottle of coke i hadn't ordered. Got a voucher for a free 'any pizza any size' from the head office, plus for free garlic bread from the local branch (!). Though i think in future i'll just avoid dominos and save more money!

Also last year when i went to the local pictures with a couple of friends including her daughter, (can't remember the name of the chain) the toilets smelt so disgusting (as they always do) that we complained to the manager and after a bit of to-ing and fro-ing with their customer service people we got 3 free tickets.:T

But when i complained about the (truly) disgusting toilets on heathrow express i didn't even get a response.

I emailed 'pets at home' as I knew there was a new one opening near us, to see if they had any opening discounts or suchlike.

I got a reply saying there will be coupons in your local paper, so I bought the paper that was out a week before the shop was due to open, and there were no vouchers.

I emailed again to say I had bought the paper for that reason only and it wasn't there. So they sent me £10 in vouchers!!!!

--only to find that the coupons were in the free paper (that I don't recive in my housing estate), but my kind mum let me have hers! SO I got some more money off! WOOHOO!

Well worth an email to ask for money off now and then!:money:

Quite a catalogue. Post your complaint about Tesco on Tesco-Complaint and email them again sending the email to terry leahy directly. there are several different email addresses on this website:

    https://www.tesco-complaint.blogspot.com

hope that helps and i would bet my bottom dollar they will reply once its made public!

I wrote to boots (snailmail) and was told the best way to make a complaint next time is to visit the shop you bought the items in and bring the products with you. They didnt send me a gift card but put 5 pound worth of points on my boots card.

Only liitle things but I like making a fuss to the big companies :D
E-mailed Pringles - got £2 voucher - said the Thai Chilli & Lemongrass flavour crisps was very weak.
Cadbury's - got £2 voucher - only about 3-4 whole nuts in my Dairy Milk Whole Nut choc bar.
Quaker - got £4 voucher - 2 of the Oatso Simple sachets were not sealed properly, sent them in with a letter.
Nestle - got £2 voucher - had a repeat of 2 of the cereals in variety pack. asked whether it was normal or a random selection for these.
Bird's Eye - got £3 voucher - complained that their Simply Salmon range was bland tasting, fish was stale and not flaky so reimbursed me for the cost of the pack. Not bad as it was on special offer at Asda for £1.
Received a £2 voucher from P&G because there was no £1 voucher with my Daz scent card.

Thanks for this thread - it makes me realise just how many times I should have complained but didn't.
