NoOk I'm not sure what to do now, as I don't seem to be getting anywhere.
Briefly - out shopping in House of Fraser with my sister and my young daughter age 3. She saw some leaflets on a stand with a mannequin and decided to take one and bring it to me to look at. Well this huge mannequin fell crashing to the floor, just missing my daughter:eek: . The mannequin broke up and the stuff went flying everywhere!! The staff rushed to sort the stand out, didn't apologise just said to me not to worry!!!
My daughter was very scared and just kept saying sorry to me!!!
I have wrote to the store manager Mr Doherty TWICE - who basically says they have changed this display, says no-one witnessed the incident and finally "thanks for letting him know!!!"
AND THATS IT! I am furious as my daughter COULD HAVE SERIOUSLY BEEN HARMED!!
What do you think I should do here....Should i pursue it further? Who should I write to, as this man (store manager) is not interested!
Help anyone please0 -

You could contact their head office directly if you're not satisfied with the response. The house of frasier website only has an email address and 0845 phone number though.
Good luck x0 -
Ha! It's always worth complaining, you have nothing to loose.
I work part-time in a restaurant and one day a couple sat down at the table in my section. They gave me a voucher which apparently they got from the company as when they had come previously, the service had been apparently horrible. Therefore, they got this voucher for full meal for two with a bottle of wine of their choice! And I was told by the manager to do my best and give them whatever they would ask for from the menu lol.
So yea, a complaint is not a bad idea, is it?! :rotfl:0 -

I complained to the Disney Store last week about their carrier bags - the colour run all up my arms in the mini-heatwave! Lol. They were really quick getting back to me and sent me a £10 voucher. Sure I'll manage to put it too good use!

NoWhen my son was a toddler, and coming out of soft shoes, I decided to buy him a pair of nice trainers to go out in the garden etc in. I decided to buy a pair of Reebok ones which cost about £20, but were very cute!! When I put them on him, he cried, and said they hurt. I made sure they fit ok, and wondered if it was down to being a harder soled shoe. However, the next time I went to put them on him, I found a sewing machine needle snapped, in the inner lining of the shoe!! I was really upset and felt so guilty for trying them on my son. I went back to the sports shop who were very blaise about it, but did give me the address to Reebok. I wrote to them and enclosed the needle. They quickly sent me a reply apologising and asked how old my son was and what size shoes/clothes did he wear. I wrote back telling them and very soon after received a MASSIVE box containing new trainers and clothes all for my son. I still feel guilty now, even 8 years on, but to be far, Reebok were very apologetic and the clothes/shoes did come in very handy!!!0

i should maybe start complaining to them then. this happens every single time i buy something in the disney store, which is at least once a month (think im addicted more than my son!)! it annoys me so much and the red is particularly hard to get off.0 -
NoI sent a polite letter to Ben & Jerry's about a week ago to complain that TWO icecreams i bought were ruined because of the way they had frozen (lumpy and hard). I havn't recieved a reply from them despite including the batch number and my contact details.
Am very disapointed, and from now on I refuse to buy their products. If they don't care about their customers, I'm not going to give them any custom.

they dont have to reply to your letters you know. they may jsut have passed it to the right department to deal with and improve for future
they dont have to give you anything for free so dont expect it to be honest. Anything done is as a gesture of goodwill0
