NoMy, Brewers Fayre - I haven't been to one of those pubs in 10years. It's the only chain I would go out of my way to avoid. Terrible food, terrible service (and I don't think my standards are all that high).
same here last time i went awful service never again, i wish i had complained but as a newbie i didnt know i could but even now i know im not missing out!!!0 -
I've just posted a thread about my success with Belkin

No - but the title needs to changeI emailed John west as i love their smoked tuna slices, but the last couple of times i have had them they have tasted quite bland. I received a letter saying suppliers were still the same etc just must have been a piece of under smoked fish and they sent a £3 postal order which I am happy with.
I also emailed warburtons asking if they had any coupons, they sent me 2x£1, again, very pleased with that0 -
Last year we went to the MPH motor show at Earls Court, we decided to go into the pizza express in the arena area. We were kept waiting almost an hour for our food and when it did come the waitress was so rude she slammed my drink down so hard on the marble topped table I thought it was going to smash!! I emailed Pizza Express about my concerns and they sent me £30 in vouchers which we enjoyed at our (local) PE restaurant!
It pays to complain.
Once I wrote to Kipling cakes to say that there wasnt much apple in the apple pies as they used to be full, and they sent me £3 vouchers!0 -
Can I just ask...
I've always sent complaints by letter, so that they have my address/details etc, and usually receive a letter back.
When you complain via email, how do they send you the vouchers? Do you give them your address in the complaint email?
Thanks!0 -
From my experience, they will usually email you back and give their apologies and ask for your address to send you some vouchers + letter which is quite similiar to theie reply they sent you. hth.littlefairy99 wrote: »Can I just ask...

I complained to DAZ as their detergent didn't disolve in my washing machine. They sent me a £5 voucher and an appology within a week.
I also complained to Sainsburys as I had been given false information about when I could use my points. They awarded me 500 points as an appology.Afrika Afrika tickets (x6)
Silverstone tickets (x4)
£5 voucher from Daz
Bargains galore on Tesco.com

Noi complained to mcdonalds once as the service was awful! i know i shouldnt expect the world from a fast food place but the girl who served me was rude! they got my order wrong and i was sat at the drive thru window for about 5 mins with out a word said to me! i wrote a letter and they got back to me asking for the time and date of my visit.. i was surprised at how far they are investigating this. i thought they would just send a few vouchers!!!0

Hello
Wonder if I could get some advice please
I collected my bounty bag yesterday and in it was a free mini sample of cif spray
It was in a little bag however it had leaked all over everything in the bag including £40 of coupons for things such as £5 off free George items at Asda
These coupons would have been really useful to me.
The spray ruined all the free baby samples such as little samples of baby rice etc
Ive managed to clean it off the jars of food
The bag itself was very thick and totally sealed so there was no way I could have known when I picked the bag up the cif had leaked
I cannot get another bag as they only send you a voucher for one and cause of the cif leaking im quite out of pocked with the loss of the coupons etc (ive tried drying them out but there all stuck together
Do you think I have cause to compain to cif and if so what should I say?Mad Mum to 3 wonderful children, 2 foster kittens and 2 big fat cats that never made it to a new home!
Aiming to loose 56 pounds this year. Total to date 44.5 pounds 12.5 to go. Slimming World Rocks!0 -
I think it should be ok to contact Bounty and explain what has happened. They should be able to send you another voucher.narabanekeater wrote: »Hello
