NoI was given a swish black M and S kettle for Xmas last year -- after about 6 months the plastic top came off. Too lazy to take it back -- but this month, after several attempts to stick the top on it again with superglue, I emailed head office complaining. They told me to take it into the store -- it didnt matter if I didnt have the receipt. I came in, carrying my old kettle, with a copy of the email, and they refunded me the cost, just like that. I got £28.99 back, so went straight over the road to the M and S homestore, bought another black kettle (with a 2 yr guarantee) and had £10 in my pocket to boot! Very good customer service -- I didn't expect to get my money back so easily - even though the product was faulty, cos I'd taken so long to return it.0

NoComplained to Bayliss and Harding (beauty company) when my Kelly Brook perfume leaked to empty on the first day I had it. Despite the atomiser being securely atached, it managed to leak out of it! My friend who has the same perfume said her atomiser doesn't even spray.
Well anyway, the company have ignored my email for a few weeks0 -
Nomy daughter was given the family fortunes electronic game for xmas, we played it a few times but found the screen pale and somewhat difficult to read, i had a look on the net a few days later and found that we were not the only ones with this complaint.
sent them an email telling of the problem and what i found on the internet, more to make them aware of the problem than anything else, the game was still useable just a little awkward sometimes.
last week a package arrived containing a new one , nothing else, no paperwork, no letter, nothing.
this one works fine.WWSD(what would Scooby Doo)0 -

NoI complained to HSBC on Wednesday. I had gone into a branch to discuss extending my student overdraft, I had an appointment so was told to sit in the main customer service area. A member of staff came over to me and told me that I wouldn't be able to have an overdraft extension because I had gone over my limit last term, he then went on to give the exact date I had gone over my limit and told me what my balance currently was. Bearing in mind this was all still in the main customer area so every one in that branch heard my account balance and when I had previously gone over my limit! So when I left I phoned their customer services and complained.
I got a letter this morning from HSBC expressing their apologies over the incident and saying that the member of staff involved had been spoken to, to ensure this didn't happen again. The letter then went on to say how they would be sending a gift as a way of saying sorry. Just this afternoon it arrived at my house on same day delivery, it was a lovely box of nice bubble bath, shower gel and body lotion with a big "sorry" card too. You have to hand it to HSBC they're quick at responding to complaints.0 -

Nomy husband has complained about TGIs, frankie & bennies. think one was because the food took over 2 hours to get to us and the other one i was served the wrong meal. both times got £50 vouchers back.
the other time he complained about a room we booked at the Hilton and it clearly hadnt been cleaned (paid around £150 for one night, standard room). we got invited to have another stay in an executive room for free which was really generous but the room was not much different but a hell of a lot cleaner.0
