Yesgreenpixey wrote:A couple of days before this thread started I wrote a letter to Boots complaining about their Bob the builder plaster. As you opened the plastic bit that was protecting the plaster the motif of bob pealed off. I sent them the box and 3 plasters to show them the problem.
today I had a nice long letter back from them, apologizin and giving me 5000 points added to my boots card
5000 points? Lol, isn't that £50? not bad for a pack of plasters!0 -
YesCoop and Argos good if you complain in writing, they usually apologise and send some vouchers.
But I think if people complain they should also thank companies if they were helpful and praise products if you are happy with the quality! It's only fair.....0 -

So true!
I went to sainsburys soon after my baby was born with him in the pram, with the intention of doing a shop and getting a black cab home.
I hadn't really thought that I'd have trouble pushing the pram and carrying the basket, so was struggling loading things in the pram basket, and trying to steer one handed whilst carrying a shopping basket.
An assistant came over with an empty trolley and offered to go around the store with me, he was lovely, and even loaded things onto the conveyor belt , packed, and helped me into the taxi.
And the taxi driver brought my shopping in for me!
I tried to give the sainsburys guy a tip, but he said it wasn't allowed so I wrote to the store to praise him, and the manager called me to say they had given him a paid day off as reward!
So lovely!Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0 -
No - but the title needs to changeI just received a £5 voucher from Gillette after I returned some deodorant to them. It was a gents one and smelled heavilly of roses!!! I phoned first and asked what to do about it and the lady was just going to sent a voucher out, but I said I'd return the product incase there was a fault with the mix, or however they make fragrances.0

I bet that made you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
I think it's really important to show appreciation to those members of staff who do their jobs properly, hopefully the other less customer friendly lot with learn a lesson from them!!!0 -
No - but it should be moved to another boardyes! and it shows that customers really do appreciate good service, which can only serve to encourage good service!
I bet they hear a lot less of praise than those with complaints...Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0 -
