Wow, sounds like you have loads. I'm afraid I'm not much help cos I haven't bought too much beyond newborn and 0-3 months cos we don't know the sex and there is only so much unisex you can buy!

I have stocked up on nappies etc so we won't have too much of an outlay at first, but will send OH or my Mum into Primark/Next/Debenhams for some more sleepsuits when the little one is born.

I can't wait to buy something other than neutral colours!

i dont know how you're managing it, not knowing the sex..... I just couldnt contain myself.... Primark had some really sweet cream/brown motif sleepsuits, 7 pack for £5......

Have you gone with disposables or reusables?
I'd love to go with reusables but theyre expensive in one hit.....but then according to baby book (£1.75 charity shop LOL) baby will get through 6-8,000 from birth to potty..... Now that is expensive!

It is very hard at the moment but will be worth it when I get a surprise at the end of it all I think!

Check out bambino mio (won't let me post the link to the site)

Some councils give you money towards it. Have been buying the eco disposable nappies Nature care and then will buy the size 1 (I think) the next size up from newborn of the cloth nappies. I don't want to give myself added stress at the beginning and then I get £30 from my council towards a 12 pack, meaning they will cost £15. I will see how I get on with them then but hope to use them.

Google pre-loved. That is a great site and you can try some out.

Sounds like pretty much what I will be doing. Are you entitled to any cashback on the nappies? Hopefully you are!

If you go into the bambino mio website and look at the incentives bit on the left hand side it should show what your council will give you. Worth looking at!
