Actually thanks to the advice of other MSE users it's much easier than searching for it each time. Use the drop down menu's to subscribe to itRainbowLiberty0 -
I'm intrigued now!
So the side of your house, outside the wall, is their land?
Can you not see your wall, from a window, or from the front or back of the house?
jumping in late but i think its like the layout of my mums old house. staggered houses, not in a row, thus rear part of property overlaps neighbours garden and that part you cannot have access to unless in the neighbours garden.
i knowwhat i mean and hope this makes sense. There's someone in my head, but it's not me0 -
If it is a Cannabis Farm, wouldn't the OP smell it though ? being as she's so close to it.0

No as already mentioned they would be using a high end extraction and filtration system. DOn't forget if you get the set up right you can make a lot of money in a short period of time, you can harvest in around 2 - 2 1/2 months I believe.
To the OP you said you live in a respectable area and thats usually the areas targeted for this kind of thing as it wouldn't be suspected in such in a respectable neighbourhood.Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0 -
I notice in the first picture that there appears to be a car there, so the gap is going to be quite wide. I don't see why people are telling the OP just to put up with it? She is getting distrubed sleep due to the gates being used, they ask to put a gate up, OP declined but they did anyway and they have set them back so avoid the OP seeing them. They sound like very selfish neighbours. If I came home to discover some one had drilled holes into my property I'd be pretty pee'd off too! If they were that desperate to have a gate, they could have set a post in concrete a few CM's from her wall!
I totally agree!
I installed a garden gate last year, but it didn't even occur to me to drill into the neighbour's house wall ... I had a gate post erected!
These neighbours of the OP sound awful.0 -
Well third day without a curtain open or a light on and they are definitely in! I stood sniffing the air outside, but then realised, I don't even know what cannabis smells like :rotfl:. No sign of the European men, but neighbours on the other side of this house live in a semi attached to the house in question and they said they too have put up with this for years - they said last week a big police van came in the night and people were taken away, apparently the whole thing took about two hours and the opinion is that the two owners of the house have been "lying low" since which I would agree with. I did know the police were outside (kept hearing the van being opened and shut and could see the lights flashing) but I was so cold that night I couldn't be bothered to get out of my warm cosy bed! The police helicopter was out twice in the nights preceding this and again the night before last all times right over our houses - apparently these have thermal imaging cameras and so could detect a cannabis farm if it was there?
Good news is the noise has almost totally disappeared! Bad news is the gate is still there! The neighbours on other side said they have looked into the back yard and they leave their back door open all day so the dog can go in and out at his pleasure. The gate, in their opinion, was so the dog couldn't get out onto the road (its small enough to get through the gaps in the gate) and also so that no one could get in the house if they managed to jump the fencing. This was also to get the RSPCA off their back. I still think they had no right to attach this to our property - especially if the excuse was because they never had the time to devote to a dog to stop it going crazy on its own all day. They have treated their dogs terribly over the years, this is the first one thats ever been allowed in the house and like I've said the RSPCA were never away from the door.
Have to say at the moment, they are dream neighbours - its eerily quiet next door now. Hope it lasts!0 -
From what you say, it seems the police are already aware of this house and the activities of those who live in it and visit it."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

I was in Moss-side in Manchester once and there was an odd smell of cut grass in the air, when I looked around there was a street party going on with folks smoking 6 inch long cigarettes, I'd bet they 100% tobacco cigarettes. I think I have heard cannabis refered to as grass, maybe this is the reason. I dont know if the living plants generate this smell, I have never seen a cannabis plant alive or dead.0

I think you may be confused, I wouldn't say GRASS aka weed, cannabis smells anything like cut grass aka the garden lawn, football field. They are two totally different smells.Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0
