To the OP, I would be furious if someone attached something to my house without my permission - even more so if I had previously said no to it! I would look more into this, maybe a free half hour session with a solicitor? Who knows what they will do next if they went ahead and did this after you saying no! They may attach 'beware of the dog' signs to your house or security lights etc. I agree that small things neighbours may do are not worth the hassle but they have drilled holes and put cement on your property! This will not increase your property value as its not even a nice gate, it may well have reduced value or could put buyers off if its such a mess with concrete slapped on etc. I would be very angry indeed and make sure it is removed and your wall put back as it was. Some People Live & Learn, Some People Just Live...0

You would be surprised, there are many different smells, tastes and effects.
I should stop talking about this, people will start to think Im a right pot headIm not, honest

then get a quote for any damage to your property and send it to your neighbour

I very much doubt that them living there is declared or above board. They are about 40 years old so no chance of it being some sort of a student exchange.
Has one got a white cat and the other 3 nipples?
It's clear they are building a giant death ray in the attic and plan to take over the world.
What other explanation could there be for sawing noises and banging coming from a workshop in someones garden...miss_independent wrote: »Crimestoppers may very well be getting a call. Its very interesting that its all gone quiet since we have had a lot of police patroling the area. There was a Police Van parked on the path outside the house two nights running, then the two men disappeared. Maybe the neighbours on the other side are more savvy! Thanks all!
Crimestoppers??
Call MI6/CIA/CI5.
It's clear you curtain twitching has uncovered a massive conspiricy to take over the world and kill us all.
Whatever you do, don't overreact."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

Thanks for that ... yeah, I've been doing alright for the past ten years with the not over reacting thing so the current plan would be wait to see if their house blows up before I over-react or indeed react at all. Seeing as two people are currently in the cells (nothing to do with me), it would seem that HM Police are doing the over-reacting thing for me so I'm just sitting here chilling out, enjoying the quiet.
PS: You would be a fabulous tabloid editor - what a knack you have for taking things that someone has said and turning them on their head to make them look like a racist drama queen.0 -

I would hardly say that you have been over reacting, is this not exactly the type of thing neighbourhood watch and the crimestoppers is all about, people being vigilant about their surroundings. Keep up the good work and if by chance you are wrong well so what, no harm done. Rather be wrong a million times than miss the one time that you would have been right.

Tell your OH to go round and TELL them that you want it removed within x days or you will take further action (against them, not him! LOL)
TBH I think you knew it was there and chose not to do anything about it until your contractor pointed out the legalities about accessing the rest of your house........Have you paid him in full for the [still to be completed?] work?Banks - If they sold cars the wheels would come as 'extras':mad:0 -
