Sorry, dont agree. I am white but since I live in this country I represent by far the racial majority - someone saying "get out white !!!!!" is nasty but just isnt racist under these circumstances. I think get out black !!!!! or paki !!!!! or polski !!!!! on the other hand, by a white person, is most certainly racist.

OP what a very horrible and unnerving experience for you, am not at all suggesting that it is any the less upsetting. if any consolation I actually suspect it most likely stupid school kids on a dare, or bored teens on the way to the park to kick around in the snow.

I think reporting it is the right thing to do.

The thing is though that racism isn't anything to do with minorities, it's just about painting people with the same brush whether they are black, white, asian...

justcat - i think you are mistaken, racism is where the one being racist has the "upper hand" in some way. Other types of apparently racist insult are more correctly known as prejudice, stereotypes and ignorance.

    Rac-ism [rey-siz-uhthinsp.pngm]

    –noun

    1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.
    2. a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination.
    3. hatred or intolerance of another race or other races.

The people being racist don't need to have the upper hand.

Racism is in the most basic of forms, disliking someone purely because of the colour of their skin.

    O dear Chloe... LOL

Do explain how a white person can be racially abused, or is this not possible in this country??? I cannot believe you have just said that.

Anyone can be racially abused by someone of a different race.

It shouldn't matter what the country, or majority or minority is, it's all the same to me, IMO.

I can't understand what you are trying to say here.

I have been insulted and verbally abused by non whites on plenty of occasions - but I still dont think i would call it rascism, sorry.
