What gothgirl has had happened to her is NOT something you would expect to see. Bored Teens being racist? Just ignore them? Lets say she did, and they didnt go away and something happened, what would be your reaction? Its not normal teen behaviour. Not in the real world. besides her post said "men"... if it were men, would this make you change your opinion?

You didn't disagree with me, though. You just said something that made absolutely no sense. I said it sounds like she's got bored neighbours, which she has. If they had friends to hang around with, jobs to go to etc I doubt they'd be doing this.

This is the kind of behaviour that is best ignored. They're baiting for a reaction. The police won't do anything, because nothing illegal has really been done (that can be proven). Getting them involved is going to make any problems worse.

My advise was sound, but you said that I'm condoning racism, but also politically correct, in the same sentence. You didn't make any sense. It's apparent that you either don't understand what I'm saying, or what you're saying yourself. I fully understand what racism is so thanks for the explanation.

I don't condone racism, but I know the best way of handling apparent racist behaviour doesn't always involve alerting the police.

Im sorry but i think your post made no sense. Why you would ignore something like that I dont know. I agree with the fact the police probably wouldnt do anything, but I would still take actions to protect myself. Ie. Never go out alone, as I advised, espeically at night.

When I mentioned the word PC, my point was the fact its racist if its saying black, but not if its saying white. Lets be honest it is how the country is at the moment. From your post I felt that you refused to believe it was racist behaviour but infact just some silly game a bored teenager was playing.

The fact people have taken time out to target them (and they must have done because how would they have known the owners of the vehicle were white?) and make them feel unconfortable and for whatever reason they want them out. Thats why I also asked whether she was a minority down her street, which would explain things.

OP, well done for reporting it. What they did is not acceptable and you should not have to stand for it, whoever it was and whatever colour they (or you) are.

Will it? years ago when I was at sixth form, I got a laod of crap from chavs for no reason other than their mental mentality.

In the end I got the police/Lawyer involved and shafted them for everything I could.

Job done.

OP this must make you feel very vunerable. I think you did the right thing informing the police just in case something else happens.

It is racism and I daresay if it was the other way around more would be done about it because the powers that be seem to more on the side of not upsetting the ethnic people.

My stance - there is good and bad in all races and religions.

Sorry, dont agree. I am white but since I live in this country I represent by far the racial majority - someone saying "get out white !!!!!" is nasty but just isnt racist under these circumstances. I think get out black !!!!! or paki !!!!! or polski !!!!! on the other hand, by a white person, is most certainly racist.

OP what a very horrible and unnerving experience for you, am not at all suggesting that it is any the less upsetting. if any consolation I actually suspect it most likely stupid school kids on a dare, or bored teens on the way to the park to kick around in the snow.

I think reporting it is the right thing to do.
