Would all the responses here have been the same if someone had "dirty black barstewards get out" written in snow on their car?

    Why ignore it?

Why not go to the Police?

If it was the other way around, people would be screaming 'racism' and badgering OP to report it.

This place does make me laugh!

OP, I would report it if I were you.

Report it just so you know its been logged then if anything (hopefully not) should arise further down the line you have proof and i agree keep a detailed diary...as it may not be just bored idiots...some people just get targeted for little reason.

Take care and i hope it fizzle's out asap.

Exactly, when the colour of someones skin comes in to it and telling them to "GET OUT" ie. out of "their" neighborhood, you really think its not a racist attack? I really would be worried about what they'd do next, especially if they are a minority down that street.

As someone prior to me said, if it was the other way round, it would be shouted out, and people would be going mad. Its time we stuck up for ourselves too, and hiding brushing something like racism under the carpet is not something i would advise.

Have I made a new account up? No. Why would I? My post was my opinion on the matter, unless it was because I disagreed with Proc who is by the looks of it a regular and no one does this? I dont know....

What gothgirl has had happened to her is NOT something you would expect to see. Bored Teens being racist? Just ignore them? Lets say she did, and they didnt go away and something happened, what would be your reaction? Its not normal teen behaviour. Not in the real world. besides her post said "men"... if it were men, would this make you change your opinion?
  • I'm amazed by some of the responses on here! Has the world gone mad? I guarantee that if a Black person had come on here and posted about someone writing "dirty Black........." then there would have been uproar with posters telling them to go to the Police?

Racism exists for white people as well as Black people you know!

Chris, it's always the way if any "new" poster disagrees with a long-standing member of the forums they get called a troll or that it's an AE.

I wouldn't worry about it

if your doing 30mph and he jumps out without warning, you will not be found liable for any wrong doing if you mow the guy down. id bear that in mind. so doing 10mph means you can speed up.
presuming they are black, certain 'ethnicities' are known to stage accidents for compensation so you could twist it to your favour, presuming you dont mind things potentially getting ugly.

The writing on the car thing sounds like bored kids to be tbh and I know what I'm talking about, people regularly have drawn/written in the dirt on my car :o the most common being male genitals for some reason

As for the guys on the street, maybe that was just one of those odd things happening because of snow etc, people behaving a bit differently from usual.

I do know both happening on the one night would make you feel a bit vulnerable but it could be just coincidence combined with opportunity.

Have you had any trouble before? Any inkling that you aren't welcome in the area? If not I think I'd let it settle before I did anything else. If yes then I would be considering moving..

Just to add though, I think if you live in a largely white area then them saying 'white' could be a good guess. If you're the only white people on the street then I probably would be a bit more concerned by it though.
