MY BOSS IS SO !!!!!!! RUDE!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, ahem.........0 -
Thankyou Queen B. I feel a bit like I'm only treading water at the moment. I think the bank charges are the main pain in the bum. Well, more like the Judge at my local CC who is putting a hold on absolutely every case that passes through his hands.
another month and another AQA target to set myself. Always a bit disheartening to see my earning page re-set to zero.
I'm going to aim for £650. I want to pay all my car insurance this year on my CC rather than putting it on monthly instalments. However, I want to them pay off the CC next month with some of my AQA money. Not going to work myself into the ground on it though if I don't get to £650. There's always next month.
Spent the day rushing round like a blue a-rsed fly for the dragon trying to get ad copy approved. She was insistent on it going in Friday's daily paper, even though Saturday or even Monday would have been just the same. 4.30pm it arrived. 4.40pm it got approved by the boss (I pointed out she had missed out a word, I asked if she wanted it including - 'of COURSE I do' she snarled)......think I had seconds rather than minutes of my work laptop left.......phew.......
wow, the sunset is amazing outside my window. Took some photots but they haven't come out very well. I'm up a hill, so it is lots of black silhouetted tree tops with blazing orange and blue stripes in the sky. Very pretty!!!0 -

Blimey Bunny - I think you deserve an award for ploughing through my drivel!
Just about to switch the car insurance today.
Almost ordered a coat from the catalogue. Stopped myself just in time.
Work was manic today. Supposedly launching the new hospital website tomorrow and it has been a completely mad scramble to get copy sorted.
Got a bit of a shock today - there has been a story about a guy murdered inthe British Virgin Islands recently (first killing in 7 years!). realised today I knew him! Used to drink with him before he moved abroad. He used to come back dressed in Armani suits, made a fortune out there. Was a bit of a shock really. Just shows that we never know when life can change completely0 -
Changed the car insurance to Sheilas Wheels in the end. £228 a year and £35 back with Quidco. Only £6 a year more than Budget and £100 less than Auto Direct who I was with!
must toddle off and cancel the DD.......
Booked the car in for it's MOT, next Friday. Luckily the guy who does it is an old friend who I used to drink with. I know he won't rip me off and will nurse it through the best he can and as painlessly as possible. Still don't think it will be a cheap experience though0 -
Hey Minxy,
I've been thinking about you ALL day-for a few reasons:
1. The way you are approaching your debt is so admirable-I need to have the same strength as you-I'll be 40 the same year as you (sigh) and I doubt VERy much I'll be debt free (mine is hovering around 51K at the minute!)
2. I started Lighter Life this time last year and lost nearly 4 stone-I finished my VLCD using Cambridge-less expensive, better flavours (mind, have put 2 stone back on being a d!ck head-sorry for language)
3. I have looked into the site you do the work for and there's no positions at the minute-saying that, I work 7 days a week now, usually at least 12 hours a day, not sure when I'd fit it all in!
4. I drive a heap of a car, lol
Lots in common, us two!
Keep on the brilliant job, I have no doubt all your hard work will have the desired result.

Hey Bunny - we can be debt sisters!!! (erm, I guess you are a girl??!)
Well.....feeling a bit weird today.....
OH turned up at midnight last night. He goes to football practice on a Thursday with his son and normally arrives about 10.30 . He said he 'wouldn't be late as he is out all weekend' (drinking apparently, yet again, doesn't involve me)
He ate the food I'd kept warm and fell asleep as he does every single night on the sofa. This was about 1am.
I woke him and said to come to bed. He has slept the previous two nights on the sofa because I couldn't wake him. He said the sofa was comfortable. I said - 'well, why don't I just cook you some food and bring it round and you can sleep on your own sofa'? (whoops). He still didn't stir ,although I knew he was awake. I said 'are you coming to bed' and he just shrugged.
So I turned and shrugged myself and said 'well, go home then'........and went to bed wondering what he would do....
He picked up his keys, put his coat on and left....never done or said anything like that before......I hope the 10 minute walk in -2 degrees made him think.....
Feel strange. Butterflies in the stomach, fearful, wanting to say sorry even though I've got nothing to say sorry for, shaking almost, but in a weird way quite proud of myself that I said it and then didn't follow up with 'oh, come on, come to bed'.........0 -
(((OM))) for feeling bad about doing that to him but a massive :T :T :T :T :T :T for actually DOING IT!!!!!! He is using you my love and not giving you anything in return and you really deserve better you know.0

i agree with Rubypudding, you don't have anything to say sorry for. Let him work it out for himself. (((hugs))) to you.DFW Nerd no 239.....Last Personal Debt paid off Nov 2012!
