Hi Casa Boss is still a nightmare. Still as difficult to cope with. A colleague I share an office with said he thought I was 'getting used' to her........I think that makes me feel even worse that I am getting used to how she is treating me.
She has been talking to my old boss. Apparently I am 'difficult to work with and never do any work'.......I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when she told me.........
Still feel fed up. Think I am getting a cold or something. A girl Ioffice share with started off as tired, headach, then a cough and now has tonsilitus. I am worn out.........and started to cough a bit today. NOT what I need with my exam a week on Friday.
I'm thinking of joinging the DF £10 charity shop challenge. I like things like that. I find now that charityshops aren'tas cheap as they used to be and I know that they often filter out the best stuff to ebay themselves. Might join in on Saturday. Hopefully I will have my Capital One cheque by then!!0 -
OM - re your boss....... ever get the feeling she resents you and perhaps feels threatened by you?
you have 2 options concenring hwo you ultimately deal with her - you either say "sod it" and fight back via HR and any other official means or you get another job and leave her to it (I would assume that there are exit interviews if you leave your place of work?).
Either way you must deal with it for your own self respect. You are being sh*t upon both at home and the workplace and you must stop this from happening to you as believe it or not life is supposed to be easy and good for you! :-) If you look at what you've achieved over a period of time and hwo you have fought back against the CC companies and banks perhaps you'll see that you are not the non-confrontational person you think you are.
it's time to cut the crap and become the "you" you know you really are.
try saying no to someone just once today. Try it........go on.
oh and ps re the other half - he needs to go as he is an emotional vampire taking everything and contributing nothing. He's had it his way for far too long and perhaps he's a reason you are not so "positive" with your boss.
Don't let them suffocate you - live your life and be free (and debt free soon too eh?)0 -
Hi OM,
Just dropping by to say hello as I've not been around on here much the last few days.
Out of interest what did your BF get you last birthday??

OM sorry your boss is still tormenting you. I think you need to pull her up every time she has a go at you. I know it's REALLY DIFFICULT, but she keeps saying these things because she knows she can get away with it.
Will keep my fingers crossed for you.0 -
Hi Verbatim. He (eventually) got me a gas barbecue. It took months to arrive (August) but I got it eventually, and it was exactly what I wanted, so I kind of let him off, although a bit earlier into the Summer would have been nicer as the August weather turned a bit cooler!!
Boss was a pain again today. I just can't win. I do something. She wants it done differently. I do it differently, she wants it doing how I originally did it.....arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhh
I do feel (possible long rant alert) that my life is getting a bit out of control. I'm writing this message on my own computer. i've got my work laptop next to me running and i'm trying to sort out a press enquiry on my mobile. i've had an order from the Judge to put a stay on my first Abbey claim until January (aaarrrggghhh!) so I'm filling in a form to apply for that to be removed. £35 fee and no guarantee of it being removed. I've got revising to do. The chapter I'm doing tonight is called "Chaos, Uncertainty and Disorder". If it comes up as a question my answer will be "This chapter is about Oakdale Minx's life".
I have AQA to think about. And I have a mystery shop to do today at a supermarket before 9.00pm
My sister has announced she is separating from her husband and I haven't lost any weight this week!! (6 pounds in 3 weeks)
I want to take part in the DF Charity Shop challenge, I'm waiting for my refund cheque to arrive from Capital One so I can clear more debt and I'm typing faster and faster and faster like a robot that is short circuiting!!!!!!
Found the £23 TNS money though. For some bizazare reason i'd given my savingsa/c details for my money to be paid in! Oh well, I can draw it out no problem.
I just want somebody somewhere to do something for ME. Anything. I just feel i'm slogging through life and my life is becoming more and more fragmented and compartmentalised. You know when you have loads of Windows open on your PC and you keep clicking on different ones, flicking between different things and then you have so many open you can't remember which is which? That's how my life feels..........
Well, I did warn you it was a long one!!0 -
Aw bless OM! be careful, you know what happens when you have too many windows open - it crashes and you need to reboot - not so easy with a person!!!!
Give yourself a break - knock AQA on the head until your exam is over, it's not worth jeopardising your results for a short term gain.
You know it makes sense. If you don't agree I'll get ZTD to sort you out
Take care xA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

stop everything
just stop
take a good 30 minutes and do nothing. don;t look at the pc/laptop/mobile. go make a cuppa. take a bath, have a nap - do nothing at all but concentrate on the quiet with everything switched off. lie back on your bed and listen to your breathing.
just stop - I'm repeating this deliberatley because you need to pull your head on for a moment or two and relax. The world will not stop or fail because of you taking a bit of time for yourself.
You have a plan in place to get yourself out of debt - note that phrase "get yourself"you should be very proud of yourself that you are doing something so positive and ultimately lifechanging!! You are doing this, no one else and well done you for that!
so for a moment sit back and give yourself a hug and a pat on the back and actually tell yourself that you are doing something good for you. You know that voice you hear when you sit still for a while? the one that you know tells the truth about what you should be doing? well listen to that voice and run a few things past it - honest try it, it's amazing how much we miss things with all the noise and hassles we suffer from during our time awake. so like i said - STOP EVERYTHING, go on, beat it and come back in half an hour or tomorrow and spend a little bit of time on you (that means telling OH to !!!! off for the night). Honest - you need a wee break and a bit of a foot up or even a big sleep...........

thankyou.......I'm crying now.......but thankyou was meant in a nice way, not as in gee thanks you've made me cry!!! I've got this site open, the CAG site open with a Mod helping me with my court case for Citicards as well as a half filled in form for the courts for my Abbey case that I also need help with, my text book is open on the pages I should be reading, and there is a scrap of paper on the desk with the bits I have to buy from Asda. I have to take a 'list' to write down staff names who I ask questions. When did my life get like this????0 -
