This is a great deal. Haddock is lovely. Going to stock up my freezer. Can't believe I missed out on 5 pound off coupons. I am always in Marks.
    Yearly Grocery Budget - £100.77/ £3500. January Treats Budget - £11.80 / £100.
  • I went into the Canterbury M & S at the weekend, and they had lots of the 5 pound off vouchers on the clothes counters, so I would definitely look around the other counters, before going into the food hall first, if you haven't got one of these vouchers.
  • I would say to the people looking for the lamb shoulder to keep checking the store. These things are huge and sell out very quickly. But it may be worth asking one of the assistants if they have any out back. When they fill in the morning most stores won't be able to display all they have had delivered. So they may get refilled several times a day.
  • Can anyone tell me how big the lamb shoulder joints are? May pay a visit if they are a decent enough size
    thx

They vary as they are priced by weight. But the ones priced around £5 should feed 4 people depending on how much they like lamb :-)

Just returned from M&S and re tried this offer with the "spend £25, save £5" coupon and bought:

    3x lamb shoulder
    2x slow roast pork
    1x Oakham small chicken

came to £30 odd then down to £20 to pay after the discounts.

I then handed over the £5 voucher and this left me £15 to pay so it does work on the total pre discounts.

So my 6 joints worked out at an average of £2.50 each, quite a bargain!

Not all offers are available at Simply Food branches, so check the website/ring the store first.

This offer is available in all the M&S stores including the ones in the BP stations, rail stations and Moto's but the range is pretty limited there. But your right a lot of the deals don't get run in the stations, Moto's, Bps.

Most Simply food stores though will have an ok range. But as they are the smaller food only shops they will never have everything in the offer. The best range is in the biggest stores.

you can say that again - what a waste of time!! I went to Speke Simply Food which is a good size shop but have never seen so little stock in my life. spoke to girl who said that wed, thurs and fri are the main days that they get big stock deliveries, but wont bother going there again!!

Note to anyone in Liverpool though, in the actual Marks and Spencer store at Speke they have absolutely LOADS of the money off coupon leaflet for food - these are just lying around at the till point, managed to get 3:D but if I had been cheeky could have picked up about 30!!
