Many thanks for the posts on here. Thanks to the information I got 4 beef joints - all nearly £6 each and 2 chicken joints @ £4.99 each.
I got 2 of the pasta meal deals and a couple of bits to take it over £25.
    Then used my £5 voucher.
Total value of items I had bought - £43. After 3 meats for £10, pasta 3 for £3 and £5 voucher - came to less than £22 - ie half price !!
So in effect each small beef joint was less then £3 each, and chickens £2.50.
Had one for tea on Saturday - lovely and moist and tasty.
    Thanks again
If you had but £7 more you could have used the £10 off £50 the coupons work on the pre discounted price. Wish I could find the beef joints at £6 all mine have been £4.99 if I've been lucky. There are also some good bogof offers in the freezer section
  • having successfully used a voucher on 2 x £10 meat deals last week. I then tried to use another one in a different branch, including 1 meat deal and the rest food - till wouldnt accept voucher as didnt see price before promotion?? is this only working when you buy the 2 x meat deals?????
  • Tried to use the 10 pound off voucher on pre-discount price of 53 pounds, but the cashier said that you couldn't use it unless the minimum spend was more than 50 pounds after discount, so if you can use it pre-discount, you've been lucky.
  • I have been in this morning and got 6 shoulder of lamb (sorry couldn' resist they are lovely), loads and veg, fruit and salad and some soup at 2 for £3.00. Pre discount price was £57.94 but after discount was £42.46 minus my £10 off if your spend £50.00. Total bill £32.46. The price for just the lamb before the discount would have been £30.00 so not a bad days work. I was thinking of trying to get them to accept the £10 off £50 and the £5 off £25 but didn't quite have the nerve. I am not complaining though.

There were some in-store leaflets at the tills just before Christmas. One £5 off £25 spend on groceries, flowers etc for each week this month and one £10 off £50 spend.

They can also be accepted at Tesco on the same minimum spend although having seen this thread today I'll be heading down to stock up on some meats at M&S tomorrow.
  • Off to m&s this week to pick up some gammon and oakham chicken, does anyone know if they have any lamb?
