Has anyone tried the 10 pound off a 50 pound spend yet? I didn't realise that there was a 10 pound off voucher on the same sheet of vouchers. At the weekend, I bought about 45 pounds (full price) worth of food, including the dine in and one of these 3 for 10 pounds as well as two BOGOF fish deals. I am just wondering if I had spent a little bit more, would I have been able to use the 10 pound voucher before all the other deals are taken off. I am sorry that I haven't explained it very well. Does anyone know?0

I spent £70 and they took my £5 and the £10 voucher! I also got the 3 for £10 and other deals, so it was a good shop!!!!
I gave the assistant the £5 one first, then said - "Oh, can I use this one (£10 one!) as I did'nt realise it was on there" She tried and it took both!!0 -
Was that 70 pounds worth original price? How many of the 3 for 10 pound deals did you have? Sorry to be nosey, but trying to work out my weekly shopping budget around this deal. The family are really surprised that we are shopping at M & S for meat. Only go there normally for dine in offers. They had some good fish BOGOF deals, although the cod fillets are tiny when you take them out. You need two packs to get enough fish!0

Just returned from M&S and re tried this offer with the "spend £25, save £5" coupon and bought:
3x lamb shoulder
2x slow roast pork
1x Oakham small chicken
came to £30 odd then down to £20 to pay after the discounts.
I then handed over the £5 voucher and this left me £15 to pay so it does work on the total pre discounts.
So my 6 joints worked out at an average of £2.50 each, quite a bargain!
I don't think the staff are supposed to take them for less than the £25 spend, though, so don't get too upset if they won't.0 -
Looked for this deal in my local today and they only seem to have the fish, a joint of salt beef weighing 0.45kg and the chicken + meatloaf in the foil trays was hoping for something a little more exciting.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

I know, I went back this afternoon for another 2 lots of the 3 for £10.
The woman on the till said "£20 please", I handed her the £5 coupon and she immediately said that I hadnt spent £25. I explained politely that I had used it this on the same shop before and she called over the supervisor person who looked at the list of products on their screen on the till and yes I could use it as "they" had messed up with these vouchers.
The SA was very apologetic, its such a diffrence to the trouting that often goes on in Tescos. I guess they get a slightly different clientelle in M&S!0 -
just had the basted chicken breast for tea it was lovely and moist. gonna try thr mushroon with cream later in the week0

The SAs were soooo helpful in our local Simply Food yesterday. They had just opened and were filling the shelves. They were only too happy to go and bring us the pork and lamb joints from the back. One of the SAs also told us that the £5 voucher gets taken off the full price, in case we didn't already know.0 -
I'm now addicted to M&S fresh tuna steaks - gonna stock up this weekend if my store have some!A home is not a home ..... without a dog0

Many thanks for the posts on here. Thanks to the information I got 4 beef joints - all nearly £6 each and 2 chicken joints @ £4.99 each.
I got 2 of the pasta meal deals and a couple of bits to take it over £25.
Then used my £5 voucher.
Total value of items I had bought - £43. After 3 meats for £10, pasta 3 for £3 and £5 voucher - came to less than £22 - ie half price !!
So in effect each small beef joint was less then £3 each, and chickens £2.50.
Had one for tea on Saturday - lovely and moist and tasty.
Thanks again0
