Just returned from local M & S. They have various meat on a 3 for £10 promotion.
We bought 3 beef joints for £10. Had these before and they were lovely. Also steaks and chicken portions.

They have a wider selection than the last time they were doing this offer, I saw tuna steaks, cod and haddock included as well as small Oakham chickens, lamb shoulder joints, rump steaks, pork steaks, lamb chump joints, meatballs, meat loaf and corriander and chilli chicken. I saved £8.81 on 6 items today and also used one of the £5 off vouchers that they were giving out just before xmas. They also had a lot of 3 for £5 on their deli items plus half price selected fruit & veg.

Excellent, my Mrs works for them so she gets an extra 20% discount on it which makes deals like this very competative!

Bought 3 of these on Saturday morning. Slow-roasted one of them yesterday on a bed of veg for over 6 hours. Was absolutely beautiful. The meat just fell off the bone.

We ended up getting two lots of 3 for £10 and a pasta deal. Think I spent what I saved buying my wife some profiteroles though. In the end we got a whole chicken, 4 Aberdeen Angus burgers, some chicken breasts marinated in lime, coriander and chilli, 24 meatballs(I couldn't believe there were two trays of meatballs), meatloaf plus a gammon joint. So far we have had the gammon, the whole chicken and half the meatballs and all were gorgeous.

I wasn't as impressed with the pasta deal. The pasta was very nice but the sauce we got I thought was too tomato and I thought the ciabatta was garlic until I got home. First time I went in they had no bread for this deal but loads and loads of everything else.

I must say it is the first time we have had fresh meat from M&S and I must say a big thank you to the people who post the offers on here as I wouldn't have thought about going there, always thought it was too posh and expensive. I'll try and pay back the favour as I return to work this week so should be able to look for offers at a certain large supermarket.

To be honest, I think M&S have scooped the prize as far as sustaining really good offers go. I often shop there now, whereas in the past I'd only pop in once a month or so. But now I never leave without thinking I've got a bit of a bargain. And by and large, I think their meat is pretty good.
