thanks, I actually spotted this ehrn the lady in front of me in the queue had 3 joints, I couldn't be bothered to go and look, but seeing as it's on till feb, I'll pop in next week and get some, the person asking about how to cook in the slow cooker, I always brown my meat 1st then put it in the slow cooker with a drop of water and salt and pepper, then cook on high for a few hours then put it on low, hope this helps0

Got a 1.380kg chicken, a lamb shoulder and 2 bits of rump steak in one pack.
The chicken is in the oven as I type, with roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese and some sweetcorn to be served up on the side, with chicken gravy.
We will have the steak tomorrow with some big flat mushrooms stuffed with breadcrumbs and stilton.
Lamb shoulder will do nicely for Sunday lunch with a few veg.
I am well happy here.
Thanks M & S.Felines are my favourite

Slow roasted lamb in the oven at the mo.0 -
This offer is really good, the M&S meat that I've tried so far is very tasty and not like some roasts which are a little tough once cooked..
There were also a bag of King Edward Potatoes 5kg for £2.49 (half price) and many other half price offers..
Thanks for the tips on cooking too, I'm assuming to can cook lamb or pork this way too although did wonder if it wouldn't have the crispy top..This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
All good here; picked up a 1.3-odd kg chicken, a small smoked gammon joint and a box of Missis VOR's favourite melting middle fishcakes for my tenner; RRP individually something like fifteen quid so happy enough with that. Also picked up an (appreciably larger) rotisserie-marinated chicken, some of their (bloody lovely) fresh-chilled frites, a profiterole stack and a bottle of wine for another tenner.
Job's a good'un - Missis VOR very happy with her dinner last night, and plenty of bits and pieces for the freezer.

This may be a stupid question, but I have some credit notes for M&S from clothing presents that were taken back for refunds... can I use these towards payment in the food hall?0
