    Why does this not suprise me it's a pity as so many children will miss out on this oppertunity


    will this affect my application,they just sent my child benafit letter,back with a letter saying i should be notified within 4 weeks if i have been sucsesfull.

    No be fine for now, not being withdrawn till November,

    hi ya all just wondering if the ones that had the laptop from positive it ( the extra meg one ) was it DHL that delivered it just we are waiting for it coming and they tried dhl tried to deliver something today ( just wondering if it s laptop or comp win ) thanks xx

    thanks our daughter will be well pleased after she cant do any of her after school activities this week after hurting her leg in cross country its only been 1 day shes fed up already this will cheer her up xx :)

  • I to have contacted the scheme about my neighbor selling her sons laptop, they said there was nothing that they could do at all. I said to them that you would thought that the government would of put in a clause stating that the parent selling the laptop would have the money for the laptop deducted straight from there benefits....there was just a long silence, I then contacted the child's school who were appalled but in no position to do anything.

    The saddest thing about the system in place is once again its the child who is missing out and if the parent is capalbe of selling their childs laptop what else does that child go without with the money provied for her/him not hers/his parents.

    That is bad that they won't do anything. The money I could get for selling our laptop would be handy but there is no way I would do it because a) I'm not dishonest and b) I care about my kids and their education.

    To me you may as well just be stealing from your own children since the laptop is theirs so not for the parent to sell.

    shame they dont do ipads as well as laptops.
