    hello Sammy's sister:hello::hello:

    I know you're gonna fit right in cos you have to be mad to join in the first place:D

    Linda, i think Pepe might be ok for about 3 days with day-time TV. it's on day 4 that we must all worry! When I started mat leave I was quite happy to watch it for a couple of days but after that :confused::confused::confused:

    Am trying to persuade little pickle not to eat her socks or bootie / pram shoes but apparently they're so much more tasty than the cheese omelette or spread on toast I did for her lunch:rolleyes:

    Can I have a whinge? It's snow and ice, it's not going to kill us, just inconvenience us. People should show community spirit and help those who can't do it themselves, just like the Blitz!

    And yes, there are still cars stuck on the A27 as well as the M3

    Just received a letter from DS1's college and as his attendance dropped below 90% last term (he had flu really badly and was off for a fortnight) they are not paying his £14 travel allowance for the whole of this half term which equates to £84:mad:

    I am aware that they only get the allowance if their attendance is of an acceptable level but I really think that this is a bit harsh.
    But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    There have been several fatalities directly linked to the weather though, at least 4 in our area. I am not going to risk travelling with my children in this.

    I've heard of a few fatalities here too :( It's way too dangerous to go out in the car.
    Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:
