I can only guess most of the deliveries are to non-Poole addresses as all the main roads are clear. I've re-booked with Tesco (grrrr, am not a Tesco fan) for Sunday as it was the first slot available with anyone. Doesn't hugely affect me as i've plenty of food in but for anyone who relies on the deliveries because they can't get out for whatever reason, it seems an over-reaction in comparison to the level of snow we've had.

I managed to get out and into town, about hald the shops are closed so I got my slippers, had a mooch, got a pair of new wintery boots and a t-shirt for Pint, then mooched to Sainsbury's. And I didn't fall over once - the front step and side step are covered in 4 inch thick ice and that's more slippery. My legs and especially my knee hurt now - it throbs a bit sometimes, so I'm resting
