My wireless keyboard has no light for the capital lock.
However all is not lost. I have discovered that if you look at the screen while you are typing you can actually see if you are typing in capitals.:rotfl:0 -
Thanks 4 the warning. Have been to cp 6 times and never had a problem but will definately think twice about time of year/weather when booking.0

Because a weekend in January is just inside our budget, a week in August is completely outside of our budget, its either go when its cold and wet, or dont go
Usually we have a great time, wrap up warm, bike rides, cosy log fires and plenty of swimming, a bit of rain doesnt spoil it for us.
Hopefully we will get there next week, and if we do Im sure it will look snowy and beautiful too!0 -
Chill OP. I was at Whinfell during the a major snowfall a few years ago, I made it across the A66 behind a snow plough just before the road was shut. The access road (not 5 miles long at all!!) was cleared by Centre Parcs as were the internal roads. The only problems we had was they struggled with staff and the outdoor pools were closed. We still had a fantastic time as we had taken sledges.
I rang them yesterday as we re going on the 18th, as with a lot of policies the insurance doesnt cover weather your right. But I ve been watching the A66 traffic reports most of this week and it had been open the majority of the time.0 -
One thing confusing me here though. If the access road was really shut yesterday, Friday is changeover day so that would mean all the people who should be leaving would have had to stay an extra night therefore they could not accomodate the guests who had bookings for this weekend . There is no mention of this in the weather update section of the website.
I suspect if it was shut it may have been for a short period whilst they cleared it. I ve been going to Centre Parcs regularly for 19 years ( We enjoy it as do many other people, very high amount of return customers so snigger all you like those who think its beneath you ) and they are always pretty fair.0 -

Not really true as home insurance does not cover you for all weather conditions.
An Act of God is often referred to now day as Force Majeure which the literal translation is a Superior Force0
