Warning over center parcs !!!

I AM DUE WITH FAMILY TO GO TO THE CENTER PARCS WHINFELL FOREST THIS WEEKEND. AS ALL OF YOU KNOW WE HAVE BEEN HAVING BIT OF SNOW. I LIVE IN LEEDS, THE ROUTE WE WOULD TAKE UP THE A1 IS CLOSED, THE ALTERNATIVE IS GOING OVER TO MANCHESTER AND UP THE M6 TO PENRITH. THATS FINE.. UNLESS THE 5 MILE ROAD TO CENTER PARCS IS CLOSED!? WE SHALL SEE BUT IT WAS YESTERDAY. WE THOUGHT WE WOULD BE ALRIGHT THOUGH AS WE HAD PAID THE CENTER PARCS £20 INSURANCE (FOR A WEEKEND). NOT SO .. ITS NOT WORTH THE PAPER ITS WRITTEN ON. IT COVERS YOU IF THERE WAS WAR AND YOU WERE CALLED UP, ALL THE USUAL CATASTROPHIES THAT YOUR NORMAL INSURANCE WOULD. IT DOES NOT COVER IF YOU CAN NOT GET INTO THE PARK DUE TO THE ROADS OR EVEN THEIR ROAD BEING CLOSED? SO BEWARE.. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!

Snow is an act of God - and most insurance policies do not cover acts of God.

Not really true. All weather conditions are "acts of god" but are covered by house insurance.

I love the Act of God - I don't believe in God, and may feel the need to ask for evidence that God caused the weather - as nobody has been able to categorically prove 'his' existence I wonder how far I would get??!! How can an insurance policy be based on a religious belief which is what an act of god is? They need to rephrase it to say - any other incident which we cannot forsee.
