Walking in deep snow is a good substitute :D

(its likely the club will still be on unless its over knee height - then they might clear the track and do track work , you could give them a ring and see)

getting there might be a problem however!

wouldn't mind running in the snow if I just had me to consider but if I broke something I would be stuffed! I would be better getting a pair of skis and skiing down my hill....

felt like I had a good workout yesterday pulling the sledge...

They look after them very well. True to form, Sophie already has a skip for bed the same as Sadie.....everything goes in there, teaspoons, gloves, yoghurt pots, reading glasses the lot. Rolo's bed is pristine, hers.....!

If you would Pepe.....I am quite serious...I would like a dog but only a little one..:T

just phoned my ex to say I won't be venturing out to see Charlie - ex has better balance than me at staying upright!!

His Mum lives near Waterlooville (which is just outside Portsmouth) and has a ornamental garden pot thing which has now disappeared under snow!

    You need microspikes BB!

  • I'm back!

The uni's shut so there's no night shift today. I've had breakfast and got back into bed though I'd better budge again in a minute and get some more uni work done. And the pots. And put some more washing in. So much for a quiet day.

2 very wet boys have just returned from sledging in the park on our street!

I've had to put towels down on the floor of the hallway to absorb some of the lake from the various discarded wellies, gloves, hats etc as they are slung off when the kids come in

They have bubbly Aero hot chocolate and fish & chips, I gave them some change before they went.
