elfen : Live in Clanfield just up the A3 from Pompey, OH says he's never seen snow this bad - he's a southerner...as a Shropshie Lass myself this snow seems pretty normal lol!

just been to sweep the non-icy side of the drive because the snow has covered the big ice patch and Asda are due any time soon. Almost slipped on where I'd cleared - it is a bit slushy and is going to freeze hard tonight.

I HATE my driveway.

And, whilst typing.......Asda have called and cancelled the delivery......there's not exactly much of it :rolleyes:

Better re-order I guess.

Ohhh Bath is still on as long as the trains are running Mum abandoned her car half way up the hill out of our 'area'. However lil bro got all the way to work (we all work in the same area) so he is bringing Mum home and he will drop us at the station tomorrow

Becky you are right...and actually I do rather like running in the snow. I have to pick the car up from the garage later which is 2 miles away so I shall be donning my trainers and running there It is still snowing though

nik - I'm on the m27 junction 2 before segensworth. According to Pint, the M27 is still blocked and the A27 is nearly at a standstill. Luckily his mate has a land rover, so we're going to use that to go sledging.

Think it may still be as bad as last night ,as so many people just abandoned their cars and decided to walk. One woman left Waterlooville at 7:30, and had got to Wallington 4 hours later, and was going to walk the rest of the way.

just phoned my ex to say I won't be venturing out to see Charlie - ex has better balance than me at staying upright!!

His Mum lives near Waterlooville (which is just outside Portsmouth) and has a ornamental garden pot thing which has now disappeared under snow!
