His Mum lives near Waterlooville (which is just outside Portsmouth) and has a ornamental garden pot thing which has now disappeared under snow!

I'm so excited, tonight i've been selected to be a guest speaker at my local teenage cancer meeting after having cancer myself... i've got butterflies in my tummy... i've always wanted to meet others but the cancer I had was so rare but now I have the chance i'm brimming with smiles!!0

Pooky the BBC special snow programme earlier (you got to laugh haven't you!) said that over the next week there would be more snow coming in from the east...think you will get some soon!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. *adds self to the list of those either snowed in or probably going to be*
Snowed yesterday from 5 til about 11. Has been snowing today from about 6? and is still going now. It's a nightmare, was walking in the tyre ruts so I didn't sink. Took me twice as long to go to Sainsbury's ( a 5 minute walk) and there was about 10 people there.
Went down the pub last night and had a mental one - one of Pint's mates was towing another on skis., having snowball fights and making snowmen before going back to the barmaid's house for a bit.
Have got a few pics up on FB for anyone who wants to see
ETA: Niksyg, where dya live? Am in between Pompey and Soton and it's pretty bad here
Portsmouth had it bad, heard lots of people abandoned their cars at jct 9 last night.
We were told at work to go home about 9.45 as it was snowing heavy, I decided to wait a bit as no point going as DD was at school, however they called just after 10 as they'd decided to close. So we had a short walk in it as DD wanted to play in it, now we're snug at home and we're due more snow later.
Oh and my nephew was born at 4am this morn :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke
