Bookie I wouldn't ever tell you to get a job hun, Its just OH, mainly because he doesn't realise the implications of his laziness and sitting around playing games when he is pretending to look for a job! You don't have anyone relying on you. At the end of the day if he wants to live in debt/poverty then fine..he can do it on his own!

That still sounded like a kick up the backside.

Thanks Tenmah - I'm having huge problems with sizes at the moment so definitely need a tape measure before I order...

It seems that random/vanity sizing has got worse in the last few months - long gone are the days when I would walk into a shop and pick a 10 without thinking about it...now I wear a six in some, an 8 in others its just crazy...bring back standard sizes I reckon!

good job nobody has just seen me to take any snaps - I looked like an eco warrior mixed with a bag lady. Decided to sweep the non-iced side of the drive and move the snow. So, I'm wearing jumper, scarf, gloves, skirt.......and hiking boots :rotfl: I haven't worn them since I injured my back because they are too heavy for my weaker foot but at least I didn't slip like I do in normal shoes. I mut have looked a right sight - even more so because I'm stood on a slope bending over at an angle sweeping:eek:

Gotta love the snow :T not far from me either
Ok, I've gotta ask, !!!!!! were two young teenages (12 & 13) doing out at midnight? What were their parents thinking of letting them out at that time???

Went to the doctors for Evie to have her Swine Flu jab; she was alittle star, full of smiles for everyone and only letting out a howl when the needle went in but no sign of tears. Her pet lip came out for the nurse who injected her though, smiles for everyone else:o 9 months old and has already learnt how to sulk:rolleyes:

Normally takes 15 mintues to walk up but snow nearly covered the pushchair wheels so was very hard going taking nearly an hour each way. My calves and buttocks are really achy at the moment so am counting the trek as a vigorous workout - was certainly sweating when I got home!!!!

Checked the weather forecast and it'll be nice for a couple of hours and then MORE SNOW at nine tonight. Kids next door had a snowball fight and built a massive snowman AND somone has left a snow-angel in my drive. Wasn't you or Mr Sunday was is Snaggs;)?

Cat-when I was driving around last night 6-7 teens had built a 8ft across snowball and blocked a village rd with it..this was at midnight! They did move in cheerfully when I came along though!

My OH was one of the 1000 who got stranded overnight on the A3 - up between Midhurst & Petersfield - he finally got in (Gosport) at 6.45 this morning! No work for him - he's had a nap & is now building an igloo with DS!

    !

It was a nightmare, I was driving there last night from Bordon to Clanfield- I was getting so cross at all the idiots trying to drive in first gear - does no one know you need to use 2nd to get traction??! Drove past abandoned cars and cars going sideways....if people hadn't freaked out so early when the snow first started to come down heavily (around 5ish) everyone would've got home last night. Was a nightmare around Butser hill - stationary traffic just because people are crap at driving and panicked!
Sorry for the rant jfdi but I really feel for people who got stuck - it really needn't have been that bad! At least your OH is home now and you're safe and sound!
