Welcome Alizarin,
For first time in ages I haven't managed to excercise 3 times this week. Very busy helping DD to move house so haven't managed to fit it in. Will try to make it up next week.

SandC - It's a 1.5 hour lesson but I could easily spend a couple of hours there if I was allowed/my arms could take it! It's great fun
.
Jess444 -I reckon helping out a house move is more than enough exercise, if you've had to run around moving/sorting/packing/unpacking.
Spinning again tonight - I'm hoping to do something every weekday this week, as I really need to get rid of this tummy flab:www: Saving for a deposit - Target £30k by 24/03/14 (30th Birthday!) :www:

Tummy flab and arm flab, tell me about it. Yet my !!!! is disappearing to nothing!
It's great when you find something you really enjoy isn't it? For me that's zumba. Nobody cares how much you sweat - which with dancing in a club or at a party everyone would go 'eeeeeeuuugh' at you. So for me, it's good.0 -
Okay I'm not allowed to say that then.......... I shall say my bottom instead, hopefully that is fine!0

Hi,
Had a bit of a fall and injured my shoulder so I was out of action for a few weeks. A bit better now and managed to get back at the gym yesterday.Tummy flab and arm flab, tell me about it. Yet my !!!! is disappearing to nothing!
I was always the opposite - huge 'bottom' but fairly flat tum. As I have got - shall we say 'more mature'- everything has headed north and settled on my waist.

This last week, I exercised 4 days.
Monday: 50+ stretch and tone, 45 minutes.
Tuesday: half-hour swimming lesson.
Thursday: adult swimming, I went for practice, did 12 lengths back-stroke, total 15 metres.
Friday: half-hour swimming lesson.Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.
Before I found wisdom, I became old.0 -
Hey ya mind if I join....I've been really good since sunday and been to the gym or a class every day....today is my rest day.....but i'm itching to do something (never thought i'd want to go to the gym or do exercise..lol!! but yesterday I couldn't get there quick enough ha ha!! )
However I need some inspiration as this has happened before and I really want to stay motivated so I think joining this would be very helpful do you guys mind if I join to stay motivated?? xA lot of fellows nowadays have a B.A., M.D., or Ph.D. Unfortunately, they don't have a J.O.B."0 -
Welcome Mazy. This thread is quite quiet most of the time, but hopefully we can keep each other motivated. You sound like you are really enjoying the gym - what kind of classes have you been going to?0

Welcome Mazy
I was rubbish last week and only managed 2 sessions - gym on Tuesday and climbing on WednesdaySo I'm making more of an effort this week and going to try to do something every day. Starting tonight with spinning!
I'm really proud of my arms at the moment, no flab there!I seem to be losing fat from every single place on my body ....... except my tummy. D'oh!

Count me in. Have been needing to lose weight for a while.. just need the incentive to do it!
Question - what daily exercises are the best to help shift the thighs/hips/bum area?0
