Another week added to my sig.

I have downloaded the 'Couch to 5K' podcast from NHS Choices, and used it for the first time today. I should really have waited until it was cooler as it was a struggle running in the heat and only managed about 55 secs of the running section rather than 1 min. The music did help though, so I will keep going with it.

Out for a 30 min bike ride tonight, so that makes 4 for me this week. Knees fine after running yesterday, but feeling sore after the cycling tonight. It's strange really, no pain whilst I am excercising, but starts after I stop.

Hello, is there anyone out there? :) Seriously.. how is everyone else doing?

3 again for me this week - one cycle ride and two 30 min walk / run using the c25k podcast. Still bothered by my knees so rested for 2 days between the runs instead of one. I am going to sign up for the gym next week so that I can vary my excercise a bit.

Regular exercise defiantly improves health. Now modern Pilates exercise giving a great result within some week and that result is long lasting.

Another week added to my total.

I signed up for the free Fitness First 5 day Pass last week dipashah and started on Saturday. I was quite pleased that there was no hard sell when I went, I was just given a membership card and quickly shown around. Do you know if you can have the Zumba and the Gym pass?

Hi guys, sorry forgot to report in last week after my hols.

Had a break on hols with just snorkelling etc. so count that as zero for two weeks!

Did 6x sessions last week - 2x zumba and 4 swims. Currently I'm still swimming every morning weekdays for one hour, the salsa class I did has been replaced by zumba and there's another one been added for Monday so that will be 3x zumba this week and I'm going to pump tonight.

I know I should vary things but the stuff I'm doing is low impact and I enjoy it. Maybe, just maybe I'll replace one of the swim sessions in the morning for a weights session just to add a bit more strength work in but we'll see!

    Feeling great.

Hi Mingle - welcome! I'm not sure the OP is still around to note the weeks actually, but join in anyway, keep this as a log, somewhere to pop into and check you are doing okay. I sometimes read the diet threads around here and other places and they do my head in! This thread is just for people wanting to keep active, regularly so all most welcome.

    Welcome Mingle.

Sounds like you had a good holiday SandyC and got straight back into the excercise last week, I feel tired just thinking about what you fit in.

Two gym sessions for me so far this week.
