Might make more than 3 this week. I'm planning:

    Body Step - tonight
    Bums n Tums - Tomorrow
    Zumba - Wednesday

And i'm off work Friday too so might get something else in there. I will keep you's updated.

Like I said in my previous post I am trying to lose weight but am finding it very hard. I thought about reducing my snacking but I eat breakfast at 7am, lunch at 1215pm, then I prefer not to eat untill after my class at night which finishes at 7, so not eating from 1215 till about 730pm is a long time to not snack!

Wish losing weight was just as simple as clicking your fingers :)

Shezam, I always eat a banana about an hour before I go to the gym. Gives me the energy to do my workout and also stops me raiding the fridge the minute I walk through the door. Seven hours would be too long for me not to eat something!
Have been to gym tonight, I think I am going to try four again this week.

Can I join in with this challenge? I joined the gym a couple of weeks ago and due to shift pattern only got to my first class last night!
So I have one spin class under my belt and am booked for a zumba class on Thursday lunchtime. I ache all over this morning but feel really good and am aiming to drop at least 2 sizes in my clothes :)

Shezam, I sleep badly too, despite getting a new mattress a week or two ago. All this exercise I do I would think it would be no problem for me but it is.

I drop off really easily and have to force myself to stay up - but then 3-4am I'm tossing and turning right until getting up time. Do I just need less sleep these days - is the exercise just making me more alert? I admit I struggle to stay up beyond 9 or 10pm, I would say I'm asleep before 10pm usually.

    Welcome arkonit-babe.

My sleep pattern has changed since I started really pushing myself with the excercise. Some nights struggling to stay awake past 8.30  and up bright and early a 6 a.m. This does seem to be getting a bit better as I get fitter.

Looking on the bright side, the earlier I go to bed, the less chance I have of snacking.

Pulled my back somehow yesterday, can't even put my finger on when or how - it was just sometime in the morning at work - it suddenly occurred to me that my back hurt and it got worse. So I gave pump a miss last night and my swim this morning was forlorn and short to say the least. Painkillers are helping but salsa is off the cards for this evening. It was so painful this morning that it brought me out in a sweat but it's eased somewhat now - ibuprofen probably.

Darn it, hate this. I must've just moved funny and 'ping' something pulled.

Ah well. See how I am tomorrow. However, I've still managed 3x even if today's was a bit pathetic.

Sorry to hear about your bad back SandyC, I know how painful it can be. I have always found it needs at least a week of ibuprofen and gentle back excercises for it to ease. My physio taught me some core stability excercises to do in the water which really helped last time I had a problem. Let me know if you want me to try to explain them.

    Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks Jess, it's not feeling as bad this morning. The pain is mid back on one side, so definitely something pulled! Complete rest today - zumba class is off anyway as the instructor has gone off on a fitness convention for the weekend.

Will go to the pool in the morning and see what i can do. But yes please, do try to explain what your physio taught you to do in the water as that's useful to know anyway. Core stability is something I want to work on - keep meaning to go to pilates but haven't up to yet. Do the odd plank and that's about it. Very conscious of posture which is why I know this back issue is not a posture related one.
