i have them in pink and they are brill! i have really thick curly hair and straightens it perfectly!!Wins for 2008 July - lazytown dvd, £5 Virgin vie voucher, various impulse mp3 downloads,
August- 2 frisbees, twister
Sept- bbq, juice drinks,0 -
hey guys i recieved the straighteners today, 10 days after i bought them... they seem fine but the ontly thing that is worrying me is that there is no hologram on them... the one that was on there has been removed as you can still see a sticky patch on where it was. i am in the process to contacting ghd to see if they are real as you can check the authenticity of them.0

I ended up buying mine from https://www.ghd-uk.co.uk, they were £99 for the regular ones, but came with a fab offical GHD travel bag which is great for storage as the wires to my old GHD's used to end up everywhere, i also got a free GHD heat mat, and thermal hair protector spray and free next day delivery, i'm very impressed, i love my new GHD's!
For those that asked, generally the cheapest standard price you will find on the net is about £95 inc. p&p but if your willing to spend a couple of quid extra and go up to about £99ish your likely to get some freebies thrown in0 -

I too am looking for some GHDs and i came across puresilky.com site
they are cheap on there.. but i don't know if they are a bona fida company or not? they do not supply much contact info i.e address or telephone no??? is there anyway you can check them out? you can pay by Pay Pal so i suppose you will be covered if you don't get them.?????
Anyone had any dealings with this site? .Cheers0 -
I am very hesistant to buy from any of these sites.
Does anyone know of any other good bargains with these starighteners, i would ideally like the GHD Pure white stylers?0 -
i have just sold me mk3 ghds and wanted to upgrade to the ghd mk4 so i looked arround and found this:
http://www.gohaironline.com/liehuoiteminfo.asp?id=927
rrp: £129.99
our price: £66.99
so ive just bought them! woop woop postage was £9
so i paid £75.99
you can pay via pay pal... its great becuase its a good recipt!
and they are genuine as thay have been recomended by ghd!
hope this helps other people like me with natualy curly hair wanting straight sleek locks!
I don't want to rain on anyones parade but i phoned and GHD don't recognise these stockists, claiming they have had the site shut down 5 times for selling fake goods, and this site is another version of previous sites with different names.
Have you had them authenticated by GHD?0 -
Don't know if this is the best board for this post - sorry. I am looking to buy some GHD's and found the following site where they are very cheap (even with shipping charges): http://www.target-ghd.com/hair-straighteners-c-21.html?currency=GBP
It all looks legit and above board, but has anyone ever heard of them or bought off them or can you recommend anywhere else where you can get them for this sort of price?
Thank you
Call GHD 0845 330 1133 and check whether they are recommended stockists.0 -
