Sorry if this has been asked before.
I've had my hair cut into a short bob (sort of Catherine Zeta in Chicago but without the body sob sob) anyway - do I need the barrel ones, and should they be large or small? many thanks

I must say to everyone wanting to spend loads of money on GHD straighteners.... don't!

After years of trying to find the 'best' ones without going for expensive GHD I finally settled on these (http://www.amazon.co.uk/BaByliss-2085U-Pro-230%C2%B0C-Straighteners/dp/B000BFN80I/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1206052525&sr=8-2)

Just read the reviews, 'better than GHD's!' and I have to agree. So I recommend the Babyliss ones to ANYONE who want GHD quality for cheaper :)

Thanks Gemma. I was getting giddy with all the hair straighteners out there as I've never owned any. I didn't want to pay GHD prices and bought the Babyliss Pro 230 straighteners through Amazon. They arrived pretty quickly and I'm pleased with them. There are plenty of reviews on the link you posted and I haven't been disappointed. Great thing is they have a 5 year guarantee and I paid £38.95 (postage free) and think that's a bargain compared to GHDs.

Don't know if this is the best board for this post - sorry. I am looking to buy some GHD's and found the following site where they are very cheap (even with shipping charges): http://www.target-ghd.com/hair-straighteners-c-21.html?currency=GBP
It all looks legit and above board, but has anyone ever heard of them or bought off them or can you recommend anywhere else where you can get them for this sort of price?
    Thank you

I've never heard of the company but I bought mine from Tesco Direct. They were selling them a couple of months ago with £30 off so got them for just over £66 I think. Sadly due to the high demand at that price they were sold out within days. If you have the patience they could run an offer like that again but who knows when. I can't recommend anywhere else to get them that cheap.

Thanks for the replies. I thought they were coming from USA, but if it is Hong Kong, it makes me a bit wary. I think I'll continue to shop around and see what else is available. many thanks
