I got the SCP ones from e-bay. They are brilliant. Got them from Kian's Store on e-bay £28 and came with a heat resistant bag, hairbrush, comb and hair clips.

These were bought at the end of June and although they are working they are starting to delaminate. Not getting any response from supplier. Avoid.
  • Sorry if anyone has posted this but T J Hughes has them at the mo, dont no whether they are worth it?

  • I appeal to all women(and men),where do you get a deal on these hair strighteners??
It seems to me that there is a monopoly on this product as everyone seems to sell them at the same price(£90-£100). My good lady wants a pair for xmas and not wanting to let her down, i have searched in vain on the t'internet for a deal.
Has anyone got a pair for £80 or less?
Don't really want to try eBay or is that my only bet?

p.s it is the large model not the mini ones

    Cheers

Aldi has ceramic straighteners for £7.99. They heat up to 230 degrees which I believe is the same as GHDs and also they come with a 3 year garentee.
I have bought and tried and in my opinion are very good.

Someone else posted a brilliant deal in another section of the forum..

£98 with Boots - Use the £10 off Boots code to make them £88.
At the moment its extra points if you spend over £100 i think, which means you get £20 worth of points on your boots card.
Also, dont forget to go through Quidco!

I bought some, they came within 2 days, and are great :)

    Straight hair at last!!!

Argh, forgot to go through Quidco... that'll teach me not to read to the end of the post! :wall:

Tried to cancel the order as soon as I pressed submit and realised, but apparently it can't be done - the best they could suggest is that I re-order and refuse the original order. Can't really be bothered for the sake of £3.

Been trawling interweb for weeks trying to find the best deal on these and £88 plus £24 worth of points is way less than I could have dreamed of paying. :T :T :T
If I hadn't seen such riches, I could live with being poor...

My daughter has managed to break her GHDs less than a year after I bought them for her. I bought them from a reputable ebay seller but of course I cant remember who now.

Is there anything I can do?
