I want to get my girlfriend the MkIV GHD's but she wants the salon (big) ones.
The Boots and Tesco deals looked OK but the pictures of the products are of the older model and it doesn't specify MkIV in the descriptions.
What would anyone recommend?
Thanks!0 -

Pls be nice to all MSer's
There's no such thing as a stupid question, and even if you disagree courtesy helps.

Dont worry about what computerwoman said about watchdog and faults, there was reported faults about 2 years ago and ghd has sorted it out. most of the stories about them that are bandied about are about old straighteners or due to misuse. ghds are the best selling straighteners in europe, and are in nearly every salon in the country. These salons wouldnt use a prodduct that is unsafe or would leave them open to legal actions.
My wife and daughter have both got ghd straighteners and have used them without problems.
Your best deal for ghd seems to be getting a free product with them, free therrmal heat mats and free thermal sprays are the most common. As well as getting free next day delivery.
Boots has a promo code kicking about which will save you some cash, a search of the usual promo code sites should net you some luck there, if they havent sold out.
the GHD IV styler is the current version of ghd's dont buy the older one as there shouldnt be any of them in circulation so they would be old stock as they were recalled about 10 months ago.
We buy our ghd products from www.ghd-uk.co.uk as they have been consistantly good for deals and delivery.
alternately you can get them direct from www.ghdhair.com which is the official ghd site, you pay more but they have changing special offers that other people dont.freebie creator, freebie hunter and freebie sharer.
