    Hello

My trusty GHDs about 3 years old have been going downhill rapidly:confused: the light doesnt come on unless you press the 2 plates together - then it heats up but not as good as they use to be, or as hot!

Is it worth sending them off to GHD? the factory in Yorkshire, they say to send recorded, if they can fix them they give you a quote first.

    Might give it a go?

Using some cheapo £10 ones i got from a beauty salon - not that bad but not as quick as ghds!

Try this lady on Ebay. 99.9 positive feedback out of 49234 feedbacks received!

This is obviously a finished ad from when I bought my wife some but the seller has loads on sale. Comes with heat mat as well.

    Cheers

I have just seen that the GHD MK 4 will be available from next week - they will have a rounder barrel as well as an auto sleep function (after 30 minutes) but even better - they are dual voltage and can be used Stateside

Can't seem to see them on offer anywhere yet but if anyone sees any bargains can they please let me know?!

    Thanks

    Try www.salonlines.co.uk.

Their service is fantastic. I had a pair of ghd mk.3 straighteners that I bought at the beginning of January last year. Much to my dismay they stopped working a few days ago and as I can't be without them I couldn't be bothered to send them off to be repaired or replaced. Salonlines are definatetly the best around. They have the mk.4 in stock for £115 including free delivery, plus a free 200ml bottle of mousse and hairspray from ghd's new thermodynamics range worth £12.95 each!! and also you can claim a free bottle of heat protector spray from ghd that is worth £9.95!!

Anyway back to the point! I bought a pair of the new mk.4's at 9:15am on Thursday morning and guess what? The ANC man was knocking at my door at 8:10am yesterday morning! Hows that for service?

These new ones have a 2 year warranty which is even better, and they can be used worldwide, which is great for me as I can now take them to Barbados - yippee!!

Sorry for waffling on but I hope I've helped!!
:DThe world would be a sad place to live with no chocolate! :D
