You have got to get him out of there and do not believe that he will ever change.

You should not be in fear in your own home.

Could you phone his mum and tell her you are so scared a neighbour will call the police and he will be locked up.

Maybe she could calm the ***!

Is he drunk or on drugs or just a complete loon?

    Hi elona hun!wave.gif
Glad you've treated yourself!:T Hope all is well with you angel.
I so agree with you hun - this bf is not going to change.
I'm thinking of going round and setting up a special Tiff rat trap for him!cat%2520w-machine%2520gun.jpg
    Take care elona.

    Hi bunnie!
Hope you're feeling better hun. How about your neighbour paying it - or paying you it back in installments? Sounds like you've got a case of the blues hun -hug.gifand a relaxing bath would be just what the Tiff would have ordered!;) Now just add champagne, a massage, a lottery win and you'll be all set hun! :rotfl:
Hope the week gets better bunnie.

The evening has got worse, I feel desperately down about money, OH has gone out to his friends to play on a Wii, regardless of the fact that I won't see him much this week....it's no wonder my thoughts keep wandering

    Man I am so confused

    Me again bunnie!
Angel, whatever the situation is with money, it can be sorted. CAB and other agencies can do it on your behalf - just tell them how poorly you've been and that you can't handle speaking to any creditors yourself. They will then speak on your behalf. It's very easy for things to pile up when we're low hun - fretting over it will just bring you down lower. Take all your bills/letters with you to CAB - they will organise them. Phone to check on opening times as they do vary. Alternatively, CAB are on the web - just have a google. There's a whole range of leaflets there you can see on a hundred different things. It'll be one major thing off your mind!;)
I'm sorry about bf not being there hun. As I said, maybe head off to your parents early so you're not on your own. That can bring you down too - you seem to need people around you at the moment - are you telling them that angel? Some people need it spelling it out for them.
And you know where we are if you need us!hug.gif

If your car was parked then it will be classed as a no fault accident so normally you would get your money back for the excess (your insurance company just bills her insurance for it). If you have legal cover you could put a claim in for uninsured losses.

Have a word with your neighbour. She may be happy to keep it out of the insurance company. Otherwise ask if she will put some money towards the excess.

Thought I'd let you know that I didn't qualify for IB, so I guess I'm screwed :)
Hehe, back to the planning stages me supposes, guess a refuge is my only option. Heck, maybe I'll just get on a train and go to France like I always wanted, nothing to loose!
Hope you's all well, sending love and hugs and lots of other soppy stuff.

    Hi guys.
Had a really ok day yesterday, felt quite "normal" and enjoyed my time shopping. I dyed my hair, it came out a very different colour to on the box, much more red than expected (was going for just a deep brown), but I love it. Over the years my hair has been every colour under the sun, and I'm happy with most of them, so I change it every couple of years when I get bored.
Then I woke up this morning and it's a bad day. I'm going to go out for a bike ride later to try and shift myself out of my dark place, but at the moment I feel awful. Wish I had more control over everything.

    Tiff, sweetie

When you pin your ears back and go for it - you are awesome! Agree with every word you said to Ethel and I could not have put it better.

Please see another GP - one for whom the space between the ears is reserved for listening and thinking - not fobbing off!

Just be good to yourself for a while - you deserve it.

    Feeling good

Can you appeal against the assessment and get someona at CAB or disability place to help you word appeal?

Big hug to everyone - trying to find out what hair dye works on nearly 100% grey - I thought it was a rather fetching silver but DD (12) has just informed me it is white - then looked horrified when I looked upset.

Bless her she did not mean to upset me - found out that going grey early is one of the signs of early hypothyroid disorder - so hardly surprising!
She hastily pointed out that I did not have wrinkles and then fled precipitately!

Sitting here sipping a cup of soup and burning a candle in memory od DH's best friend who died in October and still has not been cremated because of confusion over next of kin. For everyone's sake I hope this gets resolved as it is so upsetting , especially for DH as the friend is younger than him.

I do not want to sound nasty but is "weed for brains" actually going round to help and support his Mum and Dad or just using the situation as an excuse?

    Hi gilly!:hello:
Hi to all (althought I don't think anybody's lights are on)]quote...people have been saying that for years about me hun!

[quoteWent thru dole telephone interview yesterday.
Then went to see doctor in afternoon. Got one I haven't seen before - I knew it would go bad.quote]
So you immediately felt ill at ease gilly having a strange doctor (take that any way you want dr!).
Shouldn't prescribe anything you don't need hun. Did she actually say that?
Oh no - another one who needs some Tiff treatment!641718_2c19a594dc_s.jpg:rotfl:
This is soooo wrong gilly. Has she gone psychic? She'll be in great demand if she can predict how you'll be in two weeks! Does she also do lottery numbers?!der.gif Ok hun - at least you know who NOT to see in 2 weeks. Have you been in touch with the DWP angel to see what the next step may be money wise?
Her silence may just have been down to her listening and thinking at the same time - sometimes we can be a little over-sensitive when we open up. You may have been put off being able to tell her how bad it really is because of her attitude and maybe that has caused her to misinterpret how ill you feel. If you've had a problem for 13 years hun, and it's affecting your every day life, you should be thinking about possibly claiming for DLA or Incapacity Benefit. CAB can advise you on this angel. Circumstantial or not, depression can be serious and should be given the respect it merits. Having said that, drs will only prescribe ad's if all else has been tried or the situation is severe.
Have you had counselling before gilly? They do tend to say these things about not turning up as a warning because appointments can be hard to get and the NHS get a lot of time wasted by no-shows. Try not to make the counselling situation include her because you're likely then to turn up feeling nobody's going to help. No-one can cut you off from any help hun if you need it - so don't worry about that. If I were you angel, I'd grit my teeth and make an appointment for a second opinion with a different dr if you feel you can't wait till January or if you need more help now. I think a lot of us go to the dr about our mental ill health but always mention anything physical first - we sometimes appear like we may be hiding behind our illness even if that's not the case. Equally, mental ill health can have physical effects on our health - what we think is the problem may be exasperated by the mental ill health. Don't be so hard on yourself gilly - you still have options for help angel. Sometimes we approach the treatment with 'that'll never work for me' and end up being pleasantly surprised. Going back to work and being active can help depression for some people - it can fill a day and be a distraction. Only you know how you feel about that hun.
Yep hun - there's always one rottweiller in most practices. But you don't have to see her again, and the sick note only running till 2nd Jan will provide the chance for a dr to re-evaluate you. It sounds like for peace of mind and support you're yearning to go back to Brum (the Midlands is wonderful isn't it gilly?) angel. You're not running away hun - it's just another option. If being where you are is what's causing you the problem or making it worse gilly, you'd be kinda daft to hang around wouldn't you? The internet is available in most libraries hun and there's always the cafes with it too.;) :grouphug:

    [quote=Ethel__Big_hug_to_you._This_guy_will_use_every_trick_in_the_book....I'll_leave_the_advice_to_better_people_on_here._
And that would include you hun! Make your decision maybe after the holidays - notoriously rough for so many people. Meanwhile, sit down with pad and paper and ask yourself this..."I want a nice Christmas this year - how can I make that happen?" List what you'd like and apply what's possible. I'm guessing you'd like to be home with the family for Christmas - so there's one possibility. Mental ill health feels worse as Christmas because we imagine everyone having a wonderful fuzzy felt kind of time - if only we could see through some of those 'normal' people's front doors hun! It could make Beirut look like Disneyland!;):rotfl:
This year I'm really trying to find a little bit of Christmas, just for me, just some little thing to enjoy, because even though we may have mental ill health, we deserve a Christmas too. I haven't got any palpable reason to be joyful as a person come Christmas/birthday (apart from DS & my mum, bless her & being alive [?!]) - things aren't any better for me and on top of everything else, I'll have a heart full of love and no special person to share it with.....although I'm telling you now, that OAP Greeter at Asda is starting to look more and more attractive!pound.gif
But I'm here and this year, I'm not going to cry so much if I can help it. If I can enjoy something for a few hours- or even an hour - then I'll have won my challenge. Let's see if we can celebrate a little piece of the day just because we're us, for ourselves and we deserve it!:grouphug:

Gilly I cannot second Elona's post strongly enough. I am honestly appalled at how that doctor treated you. You were asking for help, for crying out loud, not the keys to the Pentagon  Quite honestly, the way I'm feeling at the moment, she's damn lucky I wasn't there with you - I'd have socked her one. Please, please see a different doctor. Don't let one curmudgeonly a$$h0le stand between you and the help you need. Boy, when Tiff reads this she'll be a ticked Tiffy...
