On a hair related note, I've been dying my hair blonde for a year or so now but I'm beginning to worry about what it'll be doing to the condition of my hair. Thinking of going back to brown. Good idea or will I regret it?

I'd say give it a go sleepy? I'm sure it'll look nice. I tend to think darker colours are nicer in the winter, but praps that's just me. x

CC , I agree with sazbo, i know it's frustrating news and that your so far away but i'd wait for more of an update.

    Poor sazbo,
I hope work probs get sorted out, it's funny they start complaining the minute your back's out the door!

But first, the most asked question:

Q "Is anything worn under your kilt???"

A "No. Everything is in perfect working order Thank You!!."

Good Morning Guys! :hello: :shhh: :xmassign:
Well, I feel I've got to start with an apology to you. I'm sorry I haven't been around or helping as much as I should. I know many of you knew that it was a year since my Dad passed away, but it was only 4 days later (last Wednesday) that it was the anniversary of me being held hostage and nearly dying. So you see last week I was in a bit of a low to say the least. But I have read all the posts and I hope you'll all believe me when I say that I've been sending you all virtual hugs and thinking of you all. I think you are all special people and as I've sat out this last week, I can see how you're all moving ahead - yes, even you Miro.;) I just want to mention a few people before I plough on.

To Rosie :hello:Hi angel. Thank you for the PM hun. You've been on my mind a lot. I think you're so brave and I'm proud of you for getting the help you want and deserve. It takes a lot of courage to be where you're at :T and you and I both know that it won't be forever - you're getting this help to get the best future you can. You're even able to say 'Time Out!' for now which is a way of looking after yourself - well done. ;) You get back here quickly when you feel you can hun - it's only Sazzy, me, a chair and a whip that's between Miro and the smartie cupboard!:naughty::eek: :D
I'm so glad I've been able to help angel and I shall keep watching for Rose posts. Please know you're part of the gang always and that you've helped so many through rough patches -be it with advice or smiles -or wellies!
Be kind to yourself angel and we'll be thinking of you.hug.gif xxx:grouphug:

To fg:hello:Hi hun, you've been making good progress too.:T I understand you're trying to find your way like Rose and I'm proud of you for that.;) I hope you'll be able to visit the gang here - as with Rose, you'll always be a part of the gang. We've laughed and we've cried with you and you too have always helped. Good luck feelie!:grouphug:xxx

To Sazzy :hello: Hi angel. Just wanted to say thanks for thinking of me and the kind thoughts. I'm glad Saz Palace is still standing after that awful weather - I was thinking of you and hoping all was still standing. I was worried about Tiff Towers for a while too! :D You've been golden with your advice to the peeps and I've missed ya! hug.gifxxx
    Now, about Miro...gossip.gif :rotfl:

And to elona, ethel, miro, cc, mac, gilly, bunnie, gemini, flis, blinky, stenny, ruby, et al, you are a special lot and I'm thinking of you all. This thread is amazing but it wouldn't be anything without all of you. I'm sorry I've been away so long but hopefully I'll be back to normal now - yes I know, I wasn't normal in the first place! - and will be able to help/listen if I can.
Wishing you all a magical Monday!
    Much Love,
    Tiff xxx

Tiffy you don't need to apologise. Just hope you're doing ok, that's all. Wish I could make it all better for you, really I do. Are you managing to get around ok at the moment? Have a good day hun. Love Sazxx

It didn't go far, my Stuff's still in friends but i came back last night (although nothing is gonna ever change). Head is a total mess, trying to be strong and putting on a brave face but really weak.
Spent past 2 nights crying, plus alot more going on.
Mum lost her brother 3 weeks back, her other brother-in-law was also given up to 5 years, but at weekend it has spread that much they have limited him to just a few months.
Everything is coming at once , and i ain't going down that dark road ever again.

    Hi all,

I had to be awake and by the phone by 8am for the dole phone interview.
    They called at 10.
I am waiting til 2pm to do the doctor appointment dash. Going about ear & back (and hopefully a new sign off) and going to raise depression issues. Tremendously nervous about it. Im from Brum and men dont have these sort of issues where I come from. I don't feel too bad today either - i just hear some of your stories and I think "what the hell am i moaning about compared to these people with real problems" - i dunno.

CC - long hair eh? I like it.
Long live long hair and rock music. I am growing mine (going for the dishevelled look). But I know that it will have to go if I want to be employed again. Unless I can lose weight and look like the whole image is meant (rather than a fat bloke who can't be bothered to get his hair cut).

Quiet on here today - but that's a good sign on a depression thread I guess.

God bless us one and all.

Careful, I am rather partial to guys with long hair - Ben on X-Factor:D
    I'm a rocker at heart!

My son has/had a really big mate with long hair, but he has an attitude problem - big turn off:(

There is quiet because we are probably busy with Christmas stuff and quiet because we are too depressed to post or maybe, optimistically, people are feeling better!

Nothing is too trivial, if it is bothers you, it is big to you and will bring you down. In fact, if you do have what is perceived as a big issue, you do get more support and feel less guilty. The 'smaller' issues are ignored and left to grow, if you get my drift!

I can understand the macho culture that stem from locations, also age has a lot to do with it. When we were young, things were not spoken about, whether you were male or female, things were so judgemental.
    An average day in my life:hello: :eek::mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T :o :rotfl: :rotfl: :p :eek::mad: :beer:

I used to use the light hair to lighten the spirits and it looked good with Christmas glitter fashions. I looked like a snowman if I wore white:D

Dark is more fashionable and healthy. Platinum hair was more fashionable in the 80s.
