got a meeting with my daughters psychiatric team to discuss her ongoing treatment n stuff. She's moving next week from the acute unit to a long term one where she'll be for about 18mths or so, and I should find out what knd of support they can put in place so she can come home a bit more, they said they'd provide a person to come with her so we'll see.
Here is hoping things go well for your daughterAn average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

feelinggood wrote:Ethel, I knew there was a name I was forgetting! What is it with names and me? Was trying to explain this to someone the other day, I never call people by there names in real life as I can forget names, even 6 months on since I met them. Yet I can remember alot of numbers. Realised yesterday that I know my NI number, and I've only ever used it twice and never tried to learn it. But I can forget the name of someone I really care about? Stupid eh.
I will go and vacuum now, talk to you laters hopefully!
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxAn average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Mushypeas and mclaren - hi and welcome to thread. It's a wonderful group of people who post here. This thread has been a lifeline for me, without a doubt. Hopefully you'll find it a source of help and support too. Mclaren - just a though maybe get your neck checked out hun?
Feelie - lovely to have you back posting again hun. As you say, we're a family and I didn't like to think we'd lost you for longThink I'll take a leaf out of your book and do minimal xmas this year. I just can't get into the xmas mood. Was cross to read about your OH trying to undermine your fantastic efforts re quitting cigs and alcohol - as Elona says, he senses he'll be next. So I applaud you wanting to keep strong and not let him win. Keep it going hun xxxx
Natty - I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. We'll be thinking of you tomorrow. Understandably your emotions are going to be all over the place right now. Please post here anytime, we'll support you as best we can. Take care.

Well guys, I think that's all the catching up I can do for now. Gotta jump in the bath now and get ready to go out later this afternoon. Will catch up with you all this evening. Love to you all, not forgetting lovely geminilady, elona, blinky, sleepy, welsh, flis and anyone my brain cell has forgotten.
Take care everyone, have a good day.
Much love,
Sazzy xxxx
I had a bad night too, nearly fell asleep waiting in the waiting room today.
He had been referred to a sleep study, his boss is doing the same thing!
He will be monitored whilst he sleeps with wires and stuff. He will deafen them with his racket - I haven't slept in the same room with him since 1983!
Does put a gap between us and costs a bomb on holiday!
Apparently the treatment is a mask that makes the air more positive. His chin is small and the air gets constricted and makes that horrible noise! An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

apparently I snore really badly when I'm tired.. b/f says he can always tell cos when I'm tired I go cross eyed.. if that happens then he knows he's in for a night of it, lmfao☆ §ügÅr cØÅTëÐ pØï§Øn ☆

hmmm CC.. maybe that's why you find it hard to relate to each other.. cos you don't share a bed.. I'm not talking about nookie but I think sleeping together does bring some kind of closeness in a way.. maybe it's had an impact on your marriage?
Who knows.. if they fix his snoring.. maybe things will go better with you both☆ §ügÅr cØÅTëÐ pØï§Øn ☆

CCStar - I will PM later about ear stuff. I won't clutter the thread with it. But i have to do some other things first - but it will be today.
Hugs to loads of people

He has had this problem since he was very young when an operation for tonsilitis went wrong and it perforated his eardrum. He is almost deaf in one ear. In 1993 his ear bled in Paris then things have been fine since. He decided to have it investigated last year as he had some discharge. He is on the NHS list and nothing has happened. He is OK just now but he is worried about the op and how long he will be till he is OK or if anything is likely to go wrong. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:
