Hi Gillette
Sorry to hear things are going wrong for you. Thank you for the lovely message you gave me on my 2000 post thread.
Practically, can you live on benefits for a while to have a break?, to work out what to do next and recover the from the series of knocks you have experienced.
I am 42 and it is a strange age. Neither old nor young but I feel in my prime and feel you are too. You probably don't feel it just now but it is a time for change, you haven't yet worked out where next. You feel in limbo.
As far as MSE is concerned I don't get many PMs either nor feel I am in the main clique but just recently, I have felt there to be many lovely people on this forum (bar a couple of well known trolls but we won't dwell on them:eek:)An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

I cannot believe that you said anything that would upset her to that extent.
Give her time to consider things and let the situation calm down before you both give up on each other.
Big hug to everybody including Gillette.
I often hesitate to p.m. people in case it is seen as an intrusion and I am sure you all have a lot more friends on here than you think."This site is addictive!"

Miro mate I am so sorry to hear that - if it is final.
But I know you are great and funny bloke and it will be her loss.
PS
The proof is in the number of female fans you have on here.Girls are gonna love the way I toss my hair. Boys are gonna hate the way I seem.
I would rather drown with you than watch the surf with someone else0 -
I am still in Scotland but miss England sometimes. Scotland is lovely but so hard to find the house I like, there is more choice down south.
Is there anything you really really enjoy doing that you have never been able to do due to lack of time etc?
Keep up with the physio, it is hell. My husband broke his leg in 1998 and saw how it helped him. It is worth it!
You say your life was all nicely mapped out a year ago but was it really what you wanted?
I am a believer in fate and karma. Things happen for a reason and when you look back it is the first stage of a better new phase. Like the physio, it is hell to start with but can only improve.

I don't know yet. I think i might get incapacity benefit because of my back trouble. And tbh I have other health issues. I have some savings which it will upset me to have to use but in reality I do have time.
I am trying to se if I can accept having a lodger.
I have mentally prepared myself for being off work for 6 months - that does take some of the panic away. I wish I could go s*d i and call it xmas and have some true time off! But the guilt would get to me.
I just need to think straight but it's been three weeks and I still can't.Girls are gonna love the way I toss my hair. Boys are gonna hate the way I seem.
