CCstar read your post and you made me feel sad :-( stick with it, what blikny said, he post good.

i know a hug from a stranger is no good but heres one anyway :-)

on a side note can u take head ache pills along with citalopram? cheers x

    Hi welsh wave.gif
Some headache pills may react just as they might with other meds. Quick way to find out is to phone a chemist and ask or your Crisis Team as they're 24 hours and can get the info if they don't know. You can always call Crisis Team if you have a major medication concern. It's always better to be safe than sorry.;)

Tiff Tip  - If you have a regular serious medication that you must not miss and for some reason, you have run out, you can either go to NewDoc for an overnight supply or you can phone your local police station in an emergency, tell them you're out of a med and have to have it and they will get their duty doctor who will probably write an overnight prescription. Either may also be able to provide 1 or 2 doses themselves as they carry emergency supplies. Obviously, contacting the police is a very last resort. They will also probably have other information you can use. And don't forget NHS Online etc.
    Just fyi ;)

  • CCstar, sorry you are feeling so down, sending you lots of postive vibes. Its not much help, but remember the end is near, you can see the light at the end of the tunnel - things will get better.
Hope you are okay, I'll be around for a bit if you come back, you can always PM me sweets

Miro - nice to see you here again :) Have you replied to her? You haven't PM'ed me either :p Hopefully we'll talk again soon, I need your advice :)

Tiff sweetie, how are you today? I think I left my brain cells in Germany when I was over there, if yours find me, can they point them in the direction of home? I could do with them back!

Ethel - you okay today? Hows the desk? Things ok with OH? How are you feeling about things?

Blinky - *hugs* for you today, are you feeling better than yesterday?

Welsh - thank you for your postive thoughts yesterday, really helped. Hope your head is better and that you have a good day x

Day 5 for me today, feeling good - not slept properly in about 4 days, but I think that is more to do with the fact that I've got lots of my mind! Well, I've got one BIG thing on my mind, can't think about anything else lol. What am I like. 5 days without cigs and drink, will have saved £45 by the end of today :D
    Take care all xxxxxxx

  • The inverse relationship between adipose EPA and depression indicates that a low long-term dietary intake of EPA is associated with an increased risk for depression in adolescents.
There is no reason to suppose it isn't also a factor in adult depression.

More oily fish, more linseed and less saturated fat, and absolutely no trans fat is the message but this applies to every reader not just those with depression.

Blinky - *hugs* for you today, are you feeling better than yesterday?
Feeling better today. Today's changes at work seem to be going relatively smoothly. The small issues which have arisen have been at the remote end, not our fault. Makes a change for them to go smoothly.

Will be better tonight when I see 'R' and talk with her.

Probably a mixture of having a lot on your mind and the fact your body is adjusting to being without the cigs and drink.

It took me ages to get to sleep last night even though I was dog tired. :( Mind was still at 100 mph. :(

  • Glad things are smooth at work Blinky, that must make things easier.
Hope time goes quickly for you till tonight, have a good time :)
The funny thing is, I'm not actually that tired. Think its been about 4-5 days with a couple hours sleep a night, and I'm usually at 12 hour a night person. I've got more energy that I know what to do with lol.

Just stuffing my face with a cheese, ham, colslaw and pickle sarnie :D

I'm starting to think b/f is having some kind of depression too.. he seems very down and frowny lately.. quick to fly off the handle n stuff. Insecure because he knows I could easily manage without him. Not making excuses.. just I think i've realised somethings.

ho hum.. lol... I got to wait in today for a man to come n repair my shower (it died last night) and hopefullly if he comes soon enough then I need to go out and get a new hose for my hoover and I want to get the cat a new litter tray , one of those covered up ones... cos it's sooo yukky :/

    Morning all.

I will reply this evening I suspect to people and PM's........I got a feeling I will be very depressed by then.

Seeing 'S' today at 2pm, if she doesn't cancel. I'm hoping my bringing up of one or two things won't cause her to run. I thought if I did it on 1st drink, I could then have a good time, and she'll hopefully remember the best bits, rather than the 1st bit, provided she has not run away!
