I'm happy - the hotel has free internet accsess! I'm here warming up before braving the cold again - its minus seven!! A foot of snow aswell.
Travelling was hard, had a few panic attacks, was worst at heathrow. I'm fine now I'm here and OH is at work so I can just enjoy it. Finnish Chocolate is very nice . The diazepam helped with the travelling, so I should be able to get home. Things are good, I äm happy. I need to do what I can to get better, and I'm not going to let anyone stop me.
Hope you are all good, thinking of you xxStay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

Really glad you're having at good time and you decided to go. I know a few Finns through work - there all nice people.
I get anxious at airports, catching trains etc. I'm always worried I'm going to miss the flight / train etc, even though I leave plenty of time to get there.
Did you find the anxiety building up to travelling was worse than the actual travel? This is fairly common in anxiety problems. Try and reflect on this at some point - it could help you deal with your anxiety in future.
Enjoy the rest of your trip and thinking of you.Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:

Just busy as hell.. grrrr.
Not really anything new to report today other than that I've almost finished the essay that's due in tomoorrow.. just doing the referencing which is the part I hate the most and find th emost time consuming, lol
Have a lovely time tomorrow blinky and make sure you relax and make the most of your day off
HOpe everyone else is fine.. sorry for causing worry
have a good day tomorrow and I'll see you over the weekend probably :hugs:
No worries, I knew you were busy. Sorry I'm a worrier
I used to use a program called Endnote for references. Basically you build up the library of references and use Endnote to put the references into Word. When you are ready for the final document it puts all the reference numbers in and generates the bibliography. As the reference library can be re-used you can gradually build it up over time.
I'm sure there's a freeware equivalent to Endnote. I'll dig out the links when I get a chance.
Enjoy your weekend

Different approaches to life does not neccessarily mean incompatible...

Its not so much the travelling or anything - its dealing with OH that is the major problem. I can travel fine alone.
At least I think I can!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

You're a sweetie!! I've got endnote as it is but finding it really timeconsuming to build up, lol, got about 25 entries in it so far, unfortunately none relevant yet, hehe

Hi to everyone with depression/ME, been scanning thru posts and can relate to a lot of stuff here.I've been diagnosed with chronic depression(I think its ME but docs cant treat that can they).Been suffering for over 3 years.Thats the bad news. The good is that I've started a Reiki course and wow I've got my life back, some of it any how ,no work for 2 years.Reiki has put the energy back into me ,I'm laughing/smiling/happy for the first time in ages just after 2 weeks into the course. If you have ever thought about alternative treatments then do it now, its worked for me when the drugs(nhs) didn't.I'm HAPPY and wanted to share it.DO IT NOW DONT WASTE ANYMORE OF YOUR LIFE.0

That's what 'R' says too
I'm really not used to people saying nice things to me and don't understand it when they do. I just find it hard to see any good in myself
It does take time to build the library up but it takes most of the pain out of doing the formatting (I used to write papers for publication so I had to make sure the format was correct for the particular journal.)
Tired today - car flew through service and MOT, which is a relief. Glad I didn't take it to a dealership as I'm sure they would have found lots which they would say it needed. Got it done at a local tyre / exhaust/ MOT place - saved £80 on dealership and they stamped the service book too
Spent the day in town - getting a few things I needed and to start to get ideas for Xmas shopping. Spent too much money and had loads of bags to carry around town.
Everyone, enjoy your weekend, thinking of you all.

Hi cheap plastic spoon. Glad you've found something that has helped you.
I think certainly the effects of ME and depression are very similar but I thought ME was believed to be a post viral thing?Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:
