I'm still here feeling sorry for myself, feel like my husband is going to hold it against me as he keeps mentioning it.
Don't think he can trust me on my own in the house now, I think he fears I may harm myself again0 -

I cut for the first time in years last night, drunkness and razor blades don't mix. Forgot how much it stings too. Now I've got to try and work out how to hide it, hopefully shouldn't take too long to heal. OH can't know.
Mine would have been very easy to hide as it was on my leg, but I thought I would confess to OH as he knew I was up to something anyway. I tried to have an alcoholic drink but I couldn't open the bottle top on my Aftershock.
Just been batheing mine because they are weaping
I have the doctors again tomorrow, but I am wondering whether to tell her what I did, I feel really ashamed of myself0 -

We all feel sorry for ourselves, no shame in it. Your husband shouldn't be holding it against you, he should be supporting you.
I can understand his fears, although I don't know what his fears are for.........himself, yourself or his property!0 -

Mines on the front of my thigh, so can be covered up, but means I've got to avoid sex till it heals. Any idea if I can stop it stinging?
Does your doctor know that you used to SH? Do you trust her? Are you likely to do it again?Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

I'm in the same predicament. Someone can make me feel better, but I only met her yesterday
Suggestions..........I need them myself right nowErm........anything you can do that you enjoy? Music you like?
I know it may not help, sometimes it doesn't
Anyway, i'm about to post a long post..............I may need a rest half way through so will have 2 tabs open, so I can check what is going on
WARNING: Miroslav feels very sorry for himself, his long post will mean nothing to others, but does to me0 -

My doctor does know that I used to self harm and I do trust her, I am just worried in case she signs me off work for even longer because we cannot afford for me to be out of work.
As to whether I am likely to do it again....who knows!
Have you tried batheing yours in water? I have just done that to mine and although it really stings at first, it is quite soothing0
