Why do things hurt so much? :(
    What triggered that thought?
    An average day in my life:hello: :eek::mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T :o :rotfl: :rotfl: :p :eek::mad: :beer:

    A couple of things.
The fact that this isn't moneysaving, and someone would be heartless enough to point it out.
Just worry, and worry about other people. And some more worry.
    Oh I am moping today ain't i.

I've realised that alcohol is poison to me.
I just to be able to drink fine.
I don't really drink now - just always driving or dieting so don't want to.
But when I think back - every time i drink now something terrible happens.
I ended up on the floor with an ambulance crew trying to talk me back a couple of years ago - long story.
Last week i got drunk with an army mate (mates since we were 11) - we had our first ever row.
Last nite i only had 2 pints but was quite rude to the workmate i was with then came home and fell out with a good friend on here.

A horrible (but truthful) me comes out when i drink. I may be an alcohollic that doesn't drink?
I have to be so careful with alcohol. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it makes me feel worse. It is a depressant.

    I treat it with respect

Hi Liz. Well I guess it's inevitable in a community as big as MSE, that threads are bound to stray beyond the original brief. Many threads besides this one would be guilty of that. But to answer your question, I would say that if having the opportunity to share experiences and difficulties here means that people don't need to fork out on expensive medication or other treatments, then yes, I suppose that is 'money saving' in the broader scheme of things.

That's a reasonable answer, I guess. It's up to Martin in the end if he's happy with his server space being used up with irrelevant comment.

As a sufferer myself, I have no problem with the thread's existence but it would be more appropriately positioned on some health-related website.

The vast bulk of it relates to mutual consolation and is totally irrelevant to money saving. Yes, we would save money if we didn't have to take our medication - but then that argument would apply to every illness under the sun. It's a 'grasping at straws' defence.

    I'll put it blunty.
Do you think that the sever space is more important than my life?

It wasn't the most sensitive post and not sure why she posted it. I hope my reply has set the record straight.

I worry all the time and it is Sunday and October, not the best day or month for feeling good.

It has been going for 4 months, I'm sure Martin would have had it removed had he not thought it relevant.

People have different ways of dealing with their feelings.

Sorry, I'm just a bit upset.
I'll go for a smoke and should feel better

I think the value of this thread is the number of people who come to MSE means that this is available as a help to a large number of people.

Some of which wouldn't go specially to a more relevant forum.

There i calmed down and gave a reasonable answer
Girls are gonna love the way I toss my hair. Boys are gonna hate the way I seem.
